Did everyone pay with friends and family
seems silly to pay that way if you don't know the person and it's an expensive item
hope you guys either get your merch or get your money back

i paid for goods/services... while they are rare, the scam stories always keep me from paying via friends/family.. i threw in a few bucks for paypal fees.. hope everyone else gets refunds

It has to be a scam. If this was my thread and I saw all of these things said on it I would come out and defend myself. And you just don't see that. So that makes me believe that this is a total scam.

I also paid good and services since I've been ripped off before. What's weird is that he had no problem with it at all since he told me he'd been ripped off once before as well. Just another thing that doesn't add up.

Maybe this dude needed $$$ for bail or some kind of shit like he's in trouble with the law and didn't get enough $$$ so he's in jail? Idk, I hope u guys get closure on this fucked up situation.

I did the friends and family route. Looks like I made a donation to this guy's outstanding debt. The last response I got was on 1/23 saying that he had to go to the Post Office to sort out some issues with his previous shipments and that he would send mine on that day.

This whole thing is so strange. So many red flags, yet so many unanswered questions that don't add up. I'm still holding out hope that this is a misunderstanding or a mistake that he will fix.

$350.00 sent as family and friends
    expensive lesson learned

    That sucks..
Anybody get any responses from him?
    I haven't

    Nope, $200 down the hole

No responses for me either. I feel bad for you guys, I gave him $45 for the McCready guitar pick. Small potatoes compared to the $200 and $350.

Well $150 for me. I actually received the Vitalogy book which doesn't make sense if you're gonna scam people anyway...

    Unless you got a fake.

Very true, I guess I'll have to spend another $50+ to get it authenticated through PSA

I suppose, no one came out and said it was fake or even questioned it. I have some other older EV sigs, and it's pretty spot on.

No, apparently it's still there. I don't do twitter, but I couldn't find it doing a simple search, but it is still there. The last 2 messages on his account just look like spam.

Ok I have been reading through this and looking at messages in my Inbox. Until today, I had no idea of any of this AT ALL. I have not even been on the forums, until late December, to find out where my CDs from Nugs were.

Anyone that is involved in this, please email me at the only email I have used for my primary email, or will use again. supernaut6011@hotmail.com

I hope to clear up whatever is going on here, but I am NOT behind this. I actually haven't even used PayPal in almost a year! I wasn't able to even access my PayPal to see if any payments had been received and am waiting to hear back from them so I may access my account.
Anyway, I never get any emails from Pearl Jam when I get a new PM, so anyone involved in this, please email me at the above email to get this figured out.
Also, whoever has taken it upon themselves to contact my whole family and get them worried I am heading to prison, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? How on earth would you ever have gotten my parent's house number? Not sure who you are, but whoever is doing that and getting 2 elder parents worried, PLEASE STOP! Just contact me through the email I gave and we will get this figured out.

    Or the greatest story ever.

Let me get this straight: someone logged into your Pearl Jam account, put items up for sale, also knew your ebeans account, hacked into your email, and hacked into your PayPal. Now you are locked out of your PayPal of course since it was hacked, but you can of course still log in to your Pearl Jam account because the person that stole it left the same password. Does that cover it all?

OMG that's a fucked up story. It'll surely make people more reluctant on sending as friends/family. Honestly it shouldn't be when I see stuff like that happening. 3% is way better than losing it all.
