The Cubs are bad now but all the pieces are starting to come together. They will be a very strong team in 2016 and will have a nice multi-year run of being in the playoffs

Would probably give an arm and a leg to have one of those signed Ed and Ernie posters. Would look pretty nice framed up on the wall. ;)

Probably a little bit of both.

You probably noticed that I said nothing about the World Series. That would be delusional.

That signed poster is my new holy grail.

I hope that they sell an unsigned version of that poster. Maybe August 10th?

I see that Ed's Singing wasn't enough to motivate the Cubs for a win.

First pitch and Ed in the booth. Hopefully this works. Talks about his uncle passing and had 50 people or so there as a tribute to his uncle who took him to his first Cubs game. A couple PJ references during the Sportscenter highlights just now too.

It says the posters will go to future Cubs Charities auctions, but no mention if it will be online or in person at a charity event. Following their social channels to see if they announce any more info.

I wouldn't even mind being able to buy an unsigned version because that's just a great shot.

Cubs also posted this last night. Looks like Ed signed a box of baseballs for Cubs Authentics, which from reading up on it, is only available in the ballpark but I emailed them to see if any would be going online as well.

    *UPDATE*
Just heard back via email and the baseballs are available for $200 each + shipping, and can be ordered over the phone. Info on the posters is TBD, but those will be auctioned.

I called Wrigley to order one, and you can't purchase them over the phone. They're going to be auctioned on their website, www.cubs.com/authentics.

Friends tried to call since the afternoon with no lucked. Sent emails to them as well, no reply. So now they are being auctioned off? That's cool for charity & all. But it was posted earlier that they were selling them for $200 a pop. Now they changed their mind?

Just received a reply back from Cubs Authentics ..

"Unfortunately, these baseballs are no longer available. However, our Cubs Charities team will be posting a few Eddie Vedder autographed items on the Cubs auction page early next week. You can place bids on these items by visiting cubs.com/auctions."
