I actually won this item...that was stressful as hell... I don't know wtf was up with that bullshit of adding time....that was absurd
Congrats!!
I saw the print & ball closing just few seconds part. But the print didn't just end, it just added an additional 3 minutes. It was weird. Then at the end when that was about to close, another 3 minutes were added. I've never seen that before.

I've worked for a team charity before and if there are multiple people bidding at the end of an auction, they'll basically let it go until someone concedes and there's a clear cut winner. It's for charity and they're trying to raise as much as possible. Also, if it's something like an experience that can be shared or completed multiple times, they'll often let both bidders "win" by agreeing to a certain donation amount that it's been bid up to so that they raise double the money.

Gotcha. I've never seen that before on an online auction.
I know, I know ... It will never happen. But why cant the Ten Club buy a few hundred official Major League baseballs at 11.00-12.00 bucks a piece, and have Eddie sign them in his free time over a few months. Then sell them via lottery system thru the Ten Club for 200.00 a piece, with profits going to a charity(s) of Ten Club or Eddie's choice?
I know I would gladly pay within that price range for a authentic baseball signed by Eddie Vedder, but then again, I collect celebrity signed baseballs.
I know Eddie doesnt like signing autographs much anymore, and Im sure a lot of it is due to many people hounding him are non fans just looking to post it on Ebay right away and sell it. But there are the true fans that want a autograph, and they are the ones who end up buying the few Eddie signs for the autograph dealers on Ebay. Sign some via the Ten Club to help the supply and help the fans who want one not have to pay Ebay dealer prices, with money going to charity......
One of my prized pieces of PJ memorabilia is I was able to pluck a ball from the ivy at Wrigley. I went in soon as the gates opened. Most people went to the GA area. I went to the merch near home plate. I got 3 posters. We went towards the left field wall for a beer. At the time, there was about an 8 foot section unbarricaded. I went there to get my photo taken and what do my eyes see - a ball in the ivy! I got my pic taken holding the ball in front of the ivy (and in the third base dugout). How many people can say they have a ball that they plucked from the ivy?!
i plucked a piece of ivy leaving the field during the rain delay of the Wrigley show. I still have the piece framed. It is dried out, but still a whole piece. After the show the ushers were yelling at everyone trying to touch the ivy.
Just got the signed photo shipped to me, they did a great job framing and looks even better in person. I will post photos tonight but man alive this may be the holiest of holy grails.
