To me that's like saying, "Don't ever wear the jersey of the team you are going to see."buck502000 said:Thoughts?

I think this is a nonsense rule made by people who believe they are too cool for school.

I agree, I wore my 96 no code shirt to Wrigley. I put a picture up from Wrigley on the social media site and was ridiculed for it.0

I wore one of my Soundgarden shirts to Wrigley and my wife posted it on her Facetard account...and people were asking why I didnt wear one of the ridiculous # of PJ shirts there.buck502000 said:I agree, I wore my 96 no code shirt to Wrigley. At MIA I wore my 'Ramones' PJ shirt and was told about 10 times that people liked it. At least those who thought I was a dbag for wearing a PJ shirt to a PJ show were good enough not to tell me that.

It's pretty funny, I met two of my buddies in Chicago that attended the 96 show with me. We all bought the shirt in 96, but I was the only one whom still had it. They were so jealous. One buddy was crying about how his car caught on fire, and that was how his was taken from him.

Rule #20: It's ok not to follow something Jeremy Piven said in a slacker movie from the late 90's.Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"0 -
Tell that to the Iron Maiden fans: The smorgasbord of tees worn at their shows is mind-boggling...0

I wore my Wrigley shirt from July to one of the Philly shows in October - and it is a good conversation starter. People who were also at Wrigley struck up discussions on the show and thier experiences there. Silly to think it is an unwritten rule.0

I love wearing my PJ shirts to the PJ shows. I have met many people around the towns that way during the afternoons before the concerts."A beacon on dry land"0

I think the rule should be, don't wear a shitty bands t-shirt to another bands show. You might get picked on.
I.E. don't wear a Verve Pipe shirt to Ozzfest. 0 -

That applies to 99% of bands w/ Pearl Jam being part of the 1%. Memorabilia/artwork/merch have been such an important part of their history that it's awesome to scout all the different t's/hats/etc at their shows. And, in recent years, given their somewhat limited touring many folks like myself are forced to travel to see them play. There's nothing that makes me crack a smile quicker than to be walking around a large metropolitan area, during the day or two pre-show, and to see someone sporting a Pearl Jam shirt. Makes for an instant conversation and instant friend :-B0

At Worcester #1, I saw someone wearing a Creed t-shirt! Haha! How could you wear that, especially to a PJ show.0
