    Don't forget to add to the list the 10 new uniforms that the cubs will be wearing next year. Cubs are making lots of news, just not the baseball related news that I was hoping for this offseason.

    anyone plan on going to any of the two yankee games when they are in town (5/20 & 5/21)? snagged a solo upperdeck ticket off stubhub for the 5/20 game while the prices are still reasonable. plan is to drink beers and try and keep score in a program (haven't tried this in years) since i'll be flying solo. the 5/21 game is an afternoon start, going to have to try and get out of work for that one.

    Or should I wait and get tickets for $2.75 on stub hub?

    I remember a day when I used to get excited to purchase my tickets, and look forward to spending a few summer days at Wrigley. Seems like a lifetime ago.

    $2.75 is a bit high. I'd wait for them to come down.

    The Ricketts/Theo era will go down as one of the BIGGEST DEBACLES in Cubs History.
    Which is quite the statement.
    Considering the entire franchise has been a debacle for 106 years.

    I'd definitely wait. You can't beat getting a ticket to a Cubs game that costs less than a beer!

    I'm planning on going to a couple spring training games. I know it doesn't mean shit, but it's nice to sit out in the lawn, have a few beers and soak up some cancerous sun while watching AA players run around like idiots.
    Also going to see them play at the Diamondback's spring training field. It's like 5 minutes away from me and it'll be a night game.

    cubs play today, my dvr is set, good to see baseball back even if it is just psring training.

    I remember those days too. I used to take the day off of work and drink old style while trying to get games in the virtual waiting room. Not this year. Ill be going to opening day and the mil sat game in may for my bach party but that's it. Not even gonna try to go to any games in mil this year. The run to the Cactus league title starts today.

    Spring training games are awesome. Even if the game sucks, there are TONS of smokin hot chicks in the crowd wearing practically nothing! Fantastic!
