Dear Pearl Jam,
I have no complaints whatsoever regarding the 10 Club. We are very grateful that you think of your fans and that you have created a place where we can communicate with no only each other but with you "The Greatsest Band in the World" We love and thank you for everything you do for US!
Here is a suggestion.......I could be wrong but I think the the longest Pearl Jam show on record (CD too) is the 2003 Mansfield, Mass show at 47 songs. I have a friend going to the upcoming Seattle show, I think the record could belong in SEATTLE for the longest PJ show performed on record (and CD). I know that I usually save the best for last, bring it home. I'm just anxious for the bootlegs to come out for DAL/OKC/PHX. Bravo Pearl Jam!Post edited by Ten Man onTEN MAN0 -

the new ticket sales system has to change. read this before you write it off as another whiney rant of sour grapes.
I'm not saying that there should not be a chance for all members to get access. I like that everyone gets a shot regardless of membership number. But it is just unfair that I have to enter a lottery for the only show I can attend which is Seattle (sorry for the luck of my native city). This new system threatens me with the possibility of being required to buy every show I win. So I have to commit my time and finances to the "possibiltity" of winning a 3-5 shows. Not all of us want to road-trip to multiple shows. I could have driven to Portland, Spokane, or Vancouver, but I couldn't risk paying close to $650 and traveling a total of 30 hours and spending $200 on gas. This is certainly one extreme, but we all know people spend way more than this willingly.
Back in the day, we were allowed to get two 10C tickets for one show per tour (maybe two shows, I forget). I felt like that really leveled the playing field. If you wanted to follow the band to multiple cities, you could get tickets outside of the 10C (you don't have to be in the front row for every show). This one/two show limit per tour system also was a sure way to reward the members. The likely hood that a billion people were going to try for Seattle was way reduced. The system favored attending a show or two in your own home area and maybe one road trip.
This tour, everybody and their dog put in for Seattle, while other shows were way, way, way under sold. And now we have tons of people who lost Seattle AND the show in their area. This system seems like there were fewer people attending the shows of their choice, and more tour-followers. I bet they would sell out a lot more shows with the old system.
So, 10C - please design a system that allows locals to attend the shows in their local area without the fear of accidentally buying tickets for 4 shows, AND maintain a fairness for members with higher numbers. I don't need to be in the front row of the Seattle show, but I'd like to attend a concert that is 1 hour away instead of 6 hours. away.See the path cut by the moon for you to walk on.0 -
so is everyone getting excited for the new Springsteen album in January?0
-
Just once, would you let ppl like me, who live literally in the middle of a corn field, have a chance to buy one of the Bennys you're selling in the Shadow Box pop up. That's never going to happen for me and if I ever give ANYONE $1500 for records, I'd rather give it to the Pearl Jam artist and not some STINKING FLIPPER!
Thank you for your consideration0 -

10C management really needs to read below thread and post that describes what is going on with the list czars and the incredibly rude, selfish and self-absorbed people running a non-sanctioned 10c GA list cartel.

10c GA list cartel?
I'm still wondering whether everyone complaining about people lining up has actually ever done a PJ GA queue themselves.
I'm all for 10c being involved in this themselves though. Introduce the NIN system, and all the line and list madness will be gone. You need to actually have someone there though, an official supervising the whole thing.0 -
Thanks for adding 10c gift cards to SHOP0

2 Things.
I recently purchased a hoodie through the Ten Club at a cost of $55 and $7.99 for shipping.
1)I made purchase on November 02 - received Hoodie on December 03. I live in Canada but this still seems like brutal shipping speeds. I am willing to pay a premium of 4-5$ to have express shipping (3-5 days)
2)The hoodie, despite having an amazing and awesome graphic and design, is Made In China and the quality is below what I was hoping for. I would prefer to have high quality, made in North America, garments - especially for the price.
That is all - for now!!
Mike
Ain't it funny when things change so much, it's all state of mind?0 -
europe has billions of beautiful old theatres. how about a solo tour there since we only had 5 solo shows, total, ever? just after the upcoming PJ tour?0

As someone who deals with epilepsy, I would love for the band, or whoever lights the show, to consider how the very rapid lighting pointing OUT into the crowd can possibly trigger seizures. I spent a good portion of several songs covering my face with my sister's hands around mine as precaution. I've been to other concerts and have never had to do this to this degree as I did at the LA1 show. I'm all for great lighting, but it was so heavy in facing out directly into the crowd.0

Please we need an Eddie solo show in Adelaide as well. He sold out 2 shows here last time so not sure why it has been left off his schedule this time around.0

I'm new to the Ten Club. Please consider having single tickets available through the pre-sales, as I will be going to shows alone!0
