Received my replacement Lightning Bolt LP today

    Should just assume its going to be crap and email them now, get the replacement before the origial!

    Also, the replacement was sent by UMG, not 10C. I'd only be pissed if the 10C sent out the replacements before your order.

    i imagine you'll get the whole package. i asked for a sleeve and the record.. my exterior gatefold packaging was great, but the custom sleeve was torn. not sure if ill get a new full package, or just the parts i need.

    Got my 1st 10 club copy today finally. The vinyl doesn't look too great so will give it a spin ASAP to see if there are any issues! Fingers crossed their isn't......... :corn:

    No problem. Hope I didn't seem angry, I just felt it was personal. Thanks for clarifying.

    And I agree it sucks you haven't gotten your copy yet. That's a huge fail on the 10c part, seeing as they had ample time to get the orders prepared.

    I also only had an issue with the vinyl, not the packaging.

    My gfs copy had damage to the artwork and they asked her for proof of damage and said it would be 4-6 weeks for a replacement. So I am guessing its only the damaged vinyls getting replaced at this point.

    Sweet, hope mine is at home waiting for me. My cover was also screwed up so I guess I'll have to contact tenc, however they haven't responded to any of my emails about my damaged vault 3lp...
    it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...

    Got my replacement in yesterday, and plays perfectly.

    Sent my email on the 23rd of october. got a reply 2 days later, and I Recieved my replacement today.


    Arrived in a corrogated outer record mailer, inside was a black cardboard outer sleeve, with a plastic lined white paper sleeve inside.

    vinyl is flawless, and flat (not warped).

    great customer service on both companies' parts. 10 club and Umusic.

    Thanks to whomever made this as easy as it was considering the shitty situation.

    Received my replacement vinyl today. It sounds great. Zero issues. Took 1 week from the initial email to when I received the replacement. Very happy that it was resolved quickly!

    Nope. I emailed the e-mail address and I got a reply asking for my shipping address. I gave that and that was all I had heard. Wasn't asked for proof of purchase or anything. The replacement just arrived yesterday. I only received a replacement vinyl as that was all that I had an issue with. It is in a generic sleeve.

    I received my replacement today as well. I e-mailed about a replacement the first day they said to, and this monday I got an e-mail saying it would ship out soon, and it arrived UPS today. Haven't spun it yet. I'll wait until the weekend when I can sit down and really enjoy it.

    It was a pretty painless replacement process, and really fast considering the amount of people they have to deal with. Thanks to everyone involved with the process!

    So has anyone who's got a pristine replacement also heard a good first pressing? Are the replacements just hands down better all over than even the best first pressings in terms of sound/volume/intrument levels etc?

    Am awaiting delivery of my 10C vinyl, hoping I get a good pressing but guessing if I do I'll always be wondering if it could have actually been better...

    It wasn't as much about the pressing as it was the glue across the first half. And the waves in the vinyl. So maybe part in the pressing and part in a sloppy factory.

    That said my replacement sounds AMAZING! :mrgreen:
