My sub-category for the today in thread is :

"I almost just picked up ______ on vinyl."

I prefer mortar and brick record stores but I spotted an awesome small batch of vinyl on "FleaBay" ( - I love that but I can't remember where I read it)- stuff I really wanted to hear- some again, some new- so I excitedly placed my bid- a good one- and watched the seconds tick down. 4...3...2...NO! :x Outbid last second by a machine. Totally bummed!

    Thanks for listening.

That's happened to me too... at 1 second you're already celebrating winning, and then the rug is pulled out from underneath. Very frustrating! :fp:

  • So I was waiting for my record store to get Lightning Bolt in stock, but they haven't yet. Sounds like a bunch of problems. Are they really pulling copies because of bad quality? Sorry I didn't see another thread with more details about it.

seems about 50% of them have pops/clicks/skips/buzzing that is beyond listenable. The other 50% are fine.
  • From everything I've read, yes. It's definitely been pulled from the PJ merch store, and I'd guess about 80% of anyone that has received it from the 10c are claiming shit quality. I'm still waiting on my copy. :corn:

I haven't received mine yet and what I'm reading is very much lowering my expectations. Does anyone know if they are they accepting returns on defective vinyl?

My copy of LB sounds fine. Two pops total. No static issues. I feel for the people who got awful copies of it tho. Some are unplayable.
