    They just grabbed Keller from the Jets. Looking forward to the new offense now. If they get Eric Winston I think they might be done with FA moves. I'd love to see them grab one of the TE's in this draft, pass rusher and CB help.

    It looks like, according to Armando Salguero from the Miami Herald, that Jake Long will decide in the next 24 hours between Miami and St. Louis. One thing the Phins got going is that he is that he knows what is going on and two his wife loves South Floirda. I am looking forward to this season, but I am looking forward to the May vote for a new stadium roof. If that vote fails, I beleive Ross will pack the Phins to anther city. So I hope these moves will fire up the fan base.

    Nice win! The running game was non-existent but Tannehill was good (especially in the second half) and that defense is active as hell; guys flying all over the place. Clay stepped in well for Keller. Hartline had a great game. Sturgis made all his FGs. They do need to find a way to get Wallace going earlier. Maybe some bubble-screens or reverses or whatever. You can't just bomb it up to him now and then and hope for the best. Feels good to be 1-0. Especially after the Pats and Jets pulled out close wins.

    Great game even though the Phins forgot to pack their running game to Cleveland. The Defense looks like its gonna be a top 5 and we finally got some takeaways. Something we have been lacking. I liked the passing attack which is only going to get better as the weeks go by. Wish Wallace had more balls thrown his way. Other than that nice week 1 win to open the season. On to Indy next week.

    Just finished watching "A Football Life: Don Shula"...what a great coach. They did a nice job releasing this doc before he dies. So cool to see Eddie Vedder in it also ( "from Presley to Pearl Jam") :o

    I'm so proud of this team right now. Today's game wasn't perfect. We had turnovers, gave up big plays in the running game. DIDN'T MATTER. The team kept it's poise. Made halftime adjustments. The offense was terrific on the last drive. 3-0 for the first time since I was a freshman in college. So happy right now.

    These are the most telling QB performances: when you can play a bit erratically, as Tannehill did at times today, but still get your shit together at the end when it counts most, that's what you want out of your QB. Reminded me of Roethlisberger in his first two seasons; coming through in the 4th and not being afraid to make throws in big situations (3rd down, etc.) Great job. Defense needs to sew up the crossing routes and posts though or Brees could go off next Monday (which wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, he's my fantasy QB lol).

    Great job by Gibson, Matthews and Clay too. I'm all for a "receiver-by-committee" approach. Keeps defenses guessing. We do need to stretch the field a little though. Even if it's just a token bomb to Wallace early on to keep them honest.
