    Werchter 2012

What's your thoughts on this show? Along with Isle of Wight, I believe it's the most underrated boot of 2012. Both are incredibly tight performances.

You have this mission to discover the hidden jewelries. As Eddie and the band are always inclined to bring on their best at the most seemingly irrelevant shows, you wont fail with this mission, bro.

    Brisbane I '06.

Fairly standard set for the main set. Matt's drum solo on Even Flow is wicked and Better Man>Lukin>Jeremy was enjoyable. At the start of the 1st encore, Ed states how happy they are to be with an appreciative crowd referring to the crowd at the 2 previous shows in Sydney as a 'bunch of imposters'. Off He Goes kicks off the 1st encore followed by Parachutes. Go ends the 1st encore and after the 1st chorus there is a mixup with Ed trying to sing the next verse and the band going into the solo but they recover it pretty well. For the 2nd encore, World Wide Suicide and State Of Love And Trust find themselves in unusual spots and then a quality Black follows. Alive gets everyone going allowing Rockin' In The Free World and Yellow Ledbetter to finish the show.

Nice. Have to get the new 98 show yet but listened to that DC 08 show not long ago and loved it. Hard 2 imagine to severed hand  also loved I'm open into I am mine. Beautiful light years and the the three "you's"...you are, U, who you are. Then later black... I thought we belonged together but I was wrong. It's alright... (Can he stop it already???) :D

Today for me watched pj20 again and now Melbourne 3/17/95 Did I ever say how much I love this band??

yeah I wish these setlists would come back in the rotation. Something fun and different. A setlist in abc order would be sweet :
    all those yesterdays
    breath
    corduroy
    deep
    evenflow
    faithful
    garden
    hold on
    immortality
    jeremy
    etc....

It was obvious ed didn't know the lyrics that well because he wrote the lyrics on a pizza box then handed out to someone in the crowd. about 6 or 7 people to the right of me.....that would be one cool souvenior from a show.

I like Isle Of Wight better than Werchter also. Think I may have to go back and listen to it again though, just to be sure.
