 For me it's Amsterdam 1 2014. Awesome show! Breakerfall was one of my bucketlist songs with Who You Are not far behind. And as you can (or rather, cannot) hear on the boot, Eddie's knee problems weren't really impacting the show.
"I get into a state of consciousness that I can't explain. It is about feeling and not thinking. I get positive chills and insight into things that I can't get to any other way. It is Healing of the Soul." - Mike McCready
Leeds 2014 just on 'Who You Are' fuckin buzzing, Sure ed says ' I wish i was a suitron bomb' at beginning of wishlist wtf LOL! )
Ha! I wrote my comment and then read back!

Finding myself going back to the lightening bolt album again and again. Gotta go ghost is rockin the lounge

Pendulum opens, the first few notes sound slightly off on the boot but it just grows and grows into perfection. Of The Girl makes it's only appearance of the tour; the latter part where Ed is singing and Mike repeats on his guitar is magnificent. Small Town to follow is a slight disappointment; good song but after Pendulum & Of The Girl I was expecting something else. Breakerfall is slightly sloppy in parts and not as good as in Amsterdam. Hail Hail and Once are on fire; the latter I could argue is the best Once I've heard in a while. Mind Your Manners has pure energy but it's not close to being the best performance of it on the tour. Ed greets the crowd for the first time and talks about how excited the band are to be at the venue. Following Lightning Bolt is a superbTremor Christ - making it's first appearance in England since 1996. Who You Are makes it's 4th and final appearance of the tour, I was lucky to get it 3 times. Unreal. Another rarity is then dropped; Ghost. First ever play in Europe. It's a cracking version despite Ed repeating a verse. In a way it actually enhances it. A guy in the crowd gets the mic for the 'him away' part at the end of Even Flow. After Sirens (listen to the crowd singalong at the end; goosebumps), it's another rarity (and UK debut) in the form of Push Me Pull Me. It's Yield buddy, Do The Evolution follows. Stone then takes up lead vocals (first time in UK I believe) for Don't Gimme No Lip. It's a decent version of the Lost Dogs rarity. Ed talks about war as the intro to Army Reserve. It's a speech that is more controlled than his speech in Milton Keynes. There's a slight break while a guitar is picked; it's for the only play of Present Tense this tour. I got the feeling the song got added in, rather than already being on the setlist. It's a worthy addition to an already superb main set. The crowd then chant for Jeff to sing, Ed joins in and suggests Abba's 'Fernando'. Ed starts singing it in a horrific and comedic way with the crowd joining in but Jeff doesn't take the bait and the band proceed with Given To Fly. Ed mentions The Who 'Live At Leeds' briefly before Setting Forth and Rearviewmirror closes an immense main set.
The first encore begins on a sombre note with Ed talking on how cancer effects everyone. Ed dedicates Man Of The Hour to a young man named Jonathan. All Or None follows perfectly and another rarity is dropped. This time it's Fatal, at the request of a fan attending her 30th PJ show. Both All Or None and Fatal are played for the first time in the UK. It's a beautiful opening trio to the encore. The Real Me follows in the set but doesn't appear on the boot due to technical problems. I thought Porch from Stockholm and Oslo were unreal but this tops them both for me.
At the start of the second encore, Ed gets the crowd to sing Happy Birthday to Karen (the bands photographer) and Neil (Matt's drum tech). Jeff and Stone swap instruments to kick-off Smile. Leaving Here follows before the Ten-era fest of Black, Jeremy, State Of Love And Trust and Alive. Black is just on another level, absolutely outstanding. The one song I thought would be guaranteed to play is next; Baba O'Riley. During the outro, Mike lets Ed pinwheel on his guitar, a great moment. Ed tells the crowd that the officials have been trying to get the band to finish for the last 15 or 20 minutes but they are ignoring them and introduces Ray Cameron to the stage for All Along The Watchtower. It's left to Indifference (a shortened version with Ed forgetting some lines) to close an epic show.
Best boot of the tour.
