I am not objective, I was there, it sounds freaking amazing The Man Of The Hour, All Or None, Fatal trio was out of this world.
I was there too but cannot hear it on Sirius =((
I'm jealous of all you Europeans. You got a great tour!!!
Yeah, I am too poor to afford a Sirius subscription. would love to hear everyone's opinion on the Leeds boot though... especially in relation to the Vienna show which seems to be the fave up to now.

You are right, I am a lucky one for getting this wonderful experience! Seems like I got some really special shows with my first PJ gigs ever in Berlin and Leeds! I am soo happy and grateful for finally making it after 23 years... I did know it would be great but I really didn´t expect how wonderful it would be ! I Have no words to describe how they touched my heart in Leeds! Heard the Vienna gig on PJ 10C Radio and it was very good. Hard to imagine that Leeds can top it - but for me I think it will be outstanding! Lucky for all who can see them in the States soon...
Listened to Missoula 2005 today. Am I wrong in saying that the show sounded like a bit of a......struggle? Perhaps the break after the 03 tour with just the VFC change shows in 04.
Go opens the first of 2 festival shows on the tour. The guitars sound way out on this one. Corduroy sounds a little rough around the edges but much better than Go. Following Animal, Ed addresses the crowd in Polish. No idea what he is saying but there is much laughter from the crowd. The set resumes with the Yield trio of Given To Fly, Pilate and Do The Evolution. After Nothingman, Ed asks the crowd to be careful and watch out for others -. "You know that last song was a pretty slow song to have a hundred people surfing around and landing on top of people in the front...If we see you up there more than twice security is gonna pull you out". They follow this with Even Flow which seems pretty silly to get the crowd to chill a bit! Sirens and Jeremy follow and it's an example of the flow of the set all over the place.Sirens probably would have been better to follow Nothingman and then Even Flow and Jeremy together. Rearviewmirror closes out the main set.
The only encore begins with Small Town. The 'hits' are brought out for the rest of the encore with Better Man, Porch and Alive. Baba O'Riley (joined by one of MGMT) closes the show.
I think this falls into the 'typical festival show' bracket. I kinda just switched off a lot during this boot , the flow of the main set I found hard to follow.

The second festival show of the Euro tour opens surprisingly (and refreshingly) with Rearviewmirror. It's a shorter than normal RVM without the extended instrumental but it's fantastic. Great start. The tempo is set and continues with Mind Your Manners, Animal, Corduroy and Lightning Bolt. After the Yield double of Evolution and Given To Fly, Ed introduces members of Midlake to join in on backing vocals for All Night. It's a good rendition and slightly different ending than normal. Even Flow is as quality as ever. Sirens and Small Town slow the tempo of the set briefly before Why Go picks it back up again. After Spin The Black Circle, Ed chats during Wasted Reprise which leads into Life Wasted. Better Man closes the main set.
The first encore begins with Future Days - played on electric guitar? - and a beautiful rendition of Mother. For the rest of the encore it's back to songs from Ten-era or Vs with Jeremy and State Of Love And Trust upping the tempo. Black and Daughter slow the pace; the former is stunning as always, the latter Ed tags in Pixies' 'Where Is My Mind' repeating the title a few times and then continuing into WMA. It's an epic instrumental in the middle of Porch which closes the encore.
Sonic Reducer opens the second encore and is followed by Alive. Ed changes the lyrics at the start of Rockin' In The Free World to "There's colours on the streets/All black yellow and red/There are people on the street/All crazy in the head". Mike teases a couple of lines from Angie, Ed starts to sing it with the crowd and it leads into Yellow Ledbetter. A short Little Wing with Ed singing is also tagged and ends the show.
Flow of this festival show was much more to my liking than Gdynia. Enjoyed this one alot.

Amsterdam II, 2014 (finally got my boot CDs earlier this week) It was a great show back then when I was there, hopefully it sounds as great as I remember it. The show was a first in that for the first time after 11 shows I've heard all songs from a record played live. And that record is... Lightning Bolt! (So it's actually after only 6 shows) Getaway and My Father's Son were the two songs I hadn't heard live yet until that night.
