    if they move it to may, they think they will have an event that will dominate the headlines in every month of their offseason.

    combine- feb
    free agency- march
    schedule release/draft build up - april
    draft - may

    the only down time would be june...but that's right before camp starts.

    i don't want them to change a thing. offseason is perfect as it is.

    this is true...it's also convenient timing as the nfl has been wanting to do this for a while and are contemplating making it permanent for the reasons i mentioned above.
