This album has blown me away. I was excited by the previews, but somehow it's exceeded my expectations. Kalopsia is amazing in so many ways. The songs are all over the place, and you can really hear so many different influences and styles that only QOTSA can bring together. Solid from beginning to end.24 years old, mid-life crisis

It's very good and as many of you know, I'm not a huge fan of the band.0

Great source to follow the lyrics while listening: http://www.songmeanings.net/albums/view/tracks/275653/
Hearing the full version of 'I Appear Missing' and reading those lyrics make it so powerful.24 years old, mid-life crisis

"Smooth Sailing" - Its like a mix between Eagles of Death Metal and Them Crooked Vultures. The way he sings, makes me think of EoDM, but that guitar reminds me of New Fang.
I've had this album on repeat since 9am

Agreed, hoping AIC slips out soon, I'm shocked QOTSA did before AIC but whatever!0 -
I had to look up which song Jake Shears (Scissor Sisters) was on. He's on Keep Your Eyes Peeled. I think he's singing backup. Forgot Alex Turner was on the album as well. Very solid though.8/28/98- Camden, NJ
