Ahhh... I was gonna do a big rant about how it (she/we do deserve to rant because if England bet us we'd never hear the fuckin' end of it... they're STILL goin on about the fuckin world cup for christ sake... 41 years (i think, yet I don't care), let it go... ) but luckily I decided against such a thing and I'm just going to put a smiley face here

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

  • Bleedin' heck! I came on a bit late this morning. There's talk of boobies (?) already and the wonders of multimedia programs such as last fm which I once deployed and was politely told to fuck off by a moderator.

V.... I hope I'm included, as I share your love for EV, painting and (partial) vegetarianism :o

My, it's all go here innit. I'm also thankful that the fecking rugby isn't a topic of discussion here. Give me footy any day of the week :D Speaking of which, where's fellow reds fan Al been lately?

How's everyone in the land of computerspace?

I was a member of the Reading Festival group, and some indie kid kept spouting off about how he thought PJ were 'shit' and didn't deserve to be headliners. It got ugly, I tells ya. After months of arguing and insulting, they ganged up on me and a mod told me to take it elsewhere. Ah well, no significant loss eh?

But was he an indie kid, or a metalla? I still can't understand how Pearl Jam could have been allowed to share the same stage as some of the utter shite that was on that day.

It was the equivalent of going to see The Who, but being made to listen to 5 hours of Simply Red first. By the time Pearl Jam finally came on stage I was about ready to reject music as a lost cause and retire to a hillside in Nepal disguised as a sheep, where I could be left in peace to revel in the melodic sound of my own farts.

    Yes it would :D

I've found one competition to enter and may take a wander past after work tomorrow as it isn't out of my way but venue is tiny so expect tickets will have gone by that time. Also can't find any mention of what time it is :o

    EDIT: and thanks red!

My girlfriend who I went to Reading with was into all that trendy stuff, we watched BoyKillBoy, Broken Social Scene, Larrikin Love, Coldcut and others. Some of which was endurable, the rest would qualify as suicide music. On the way there she asked, 'you saw Pearl Jam in April, and you're going to see them again a few times in the next few weeks, so why don't we go and watch Maximo Park tonight in the NME tent?' Bless her, she never saw my reaction to that coming.

Is that why you have such a profound hatred for ginger Mick?

Nah. I just don't like Ginger Conservative types that produce lift music for the benefit of wankers.

YOU telling people to stick to the TOPIC  and in a thread where, let's face it, there hasn't been any sticking to the topic for a long long time :D:D:D Seriously stop being such a hypocrite telling people to stick to the topic when the topic doesn't suit YOU... when you've derailed several of my threads with your bullshit :p

Jenny, I think we've done really well :)
