It is perfectly normal for animals to kill their offspring and since we are merely animals there should be the same rules in our society just like all other animal societies. Monkeys, lions, hamsters, dogs, and so on.
I have had an awakening. I think this is where the abortion debate is headed and as a liberal I want to move our American society FORWARD!!!!
I'm kinda hoping my Dad comes back at some point to finish me off. I've done some terrible things and my sentences are not anything to brag about.
Anyway, this is one odd and semi-fuckedup thread.

Sing it, John. That book is precisely why he should finish me once and for all

I answered your situation question. I mentioned population control and listed 3 scenarios.
It's becoming increasingly obvious to me the last couple of exchanges in threads
you are not attempting to read or understand but only challenge.
As I said off topic and no need to dissect.
I mentioned this only for the Op thinking they might appreciate the related
thought. It is kind of the opposite end of the spectrum but unfortunately a feasible one.
it is highly unfeasible for a nation to kill its future work force. the population of the nation gets older and theres no new people being born to replace them? highly doubtful an eventuality. tho I have to admit pandora itd make a hell of a sci fi flick.hear my name

A women should do whatever she wants with her body. Why should she be forced to take care of her baby? If she wants to put her baby out in the yard in the winter so she can take a nap that is her choice! It's her body. At least the baby could crawl away and maybe have a chance to live it would have a better shot than being trapped in her body when she can pay a doctor to kill it.
I just think a parent has the right to kill their baby. They can't kill anybody just their baby. Who cares if its born or not? What is a life? If a person can't sing along to betterman then their parent can kill them.
Lets move FORWARD people!I found my place......and it's alright0 -

But China has been a good example of population control with different means.
I don't pretend to know a lot about that country, it's people, or exactly how that all worked but it seems to have been successful for them. And no not agreeing with the policy.
I can see if world population needs to be controlled worldwide under a one world power
in the future that limiting births will be a means to an end
and forced abortion a more extreme measure as would be sterilization.
But like I said I posted the thought not for dissection but for the OP.0 -
For me, though I am pro choice, I don't think this is a fucked up thread at all.
I think it creative, bright, and sends a pretty clear message though I'm not sure
the pro choice people want to see it, might rather make jest and avoid understanding it.
There are many people like me who are pro choice but not pro abortion.
This thread actually makes me think about just how pro choice I am.
When given the choice to abort a life, within the law, not yet born
and a child who has joined the world, I see a clear difference in the law's eyes...
but really when you come down to it is there any difference at all?
say in God's eyes, say in the unborn souls eyes? say in the big picture of life?
We could not stomach as human beings babies being killed once they are here
so why so many choose to kill before they are?0 -

I think every woman should have one, whether they want it or not.Pro-abortion is a term usually coined by those that do not want to see legal abortion at any cost (definitely anti-abortion) to sort of 'demonise' the 'pro-choice' people (as are pro-death, baby killer, etc). Emotive and political agendas. Pro-choice already covers the acceptance of abortion but does not mean that one automatically has to condone it nor find it acceptable for themselves. One can be pro-choice, respecting the freedom of others (similar to free speech) but would, under no circumstances have an abortion themselves as it doesn't fit in with their beliefs/ethics, etc. But some are also confused about the whole affair - anti-abortion but if I find myself in a 'situation', would rather have something done safely... Pro-choice but to a point... but what point? I don't really think that anyone in their right mind is 'pro-abortion' but rather have an acceptance of it (like many medical interventions)
