    been gone for quite some time, terrible to read this! my dear igby has cancer, but amazingly, thankfully, highly treatable with chemo meds. he's been doing quite well. mr. dream just brought him to the doggie oncologist tonight in fact.


    in happier doggie news, not so "new" anymore, but after our loss of our dear chloe, we got an adorable brindle french bulldog baby, zack! love him to death! so yes, he's already a year old. soooo much news to share, both good and bad - isn't that life - but just popped on to wave hello, send some kisses and yes, i succumbed, easily, and bought 2 no code collars. i think they look awesome and my boys will rock em with pride. 8-)

    i will post pics of zack, the new collars, etc - just don't have anything on photobucket presently. i'm an instagram junkie as of late, haven't used photobucket in ages, no idea if one can link instagram? haha.

    I remember Igby ... very sorry to hear of the cancer, damn cancer :evil: but good to hear
    he is taking treatment well and his loving parents are there by his side.

    Hope you are happy and well d2d and can come back and spend more time.

    it seems we got some good news :mrgreen:

    the ultrasound shows normal liver, spleen, lungs and whatever else they look at. in other words, it looks like the mast cell cancer has not spread from the tumor. so, the good news means gracie gets a surgery :roll:

    her white count was also up enough for today's chemo. we go pick her up in an hour or so....she is going to be pissed....all this poking and prodding and no food since last night....and since she had a mild sedative, she may not keep dinner down. we will have to dote on her.

    after the surgery, she'll have a shaved shoulder, a shaved tummy (from today's ultrasound) and four partially shaved legs (chemo IVs).....but she'll still be beautiful to us! :mrgreen:

    she eats a limited ingredient, no grain, salmon and sweet potato....not for cancer but because something in the more ingredients type food was making her s**t explosively :lol:

    she not too finicky about treats....she gets milk bone trail mix and those Nutro berry/banana/apple treats. she expects one every single time we either enter or leave the house....also after pottying....I accuse her of "working the system" nearly every day :lol:

    Wait, I've posted this before - Gracie and I have the same birthday? That makes her even more awesome. (Although I sort of wish I was turning 5 today. Instead of 39. Again.)
