    woman came down with something. no fever yet, so hopefully it's just a cold....but i'm scared now. took my morning shower and didn't want to touch anything in the bathroom. i'm moving down stairs for the week. :lol:

    Some doctors are complete idiots. My 1 year old had a fever for 5 days. Our regular pediatrician was out so we saw his partner. This idiot starts talking about cancer and my wife almost died. It was the scariest thing I ever went through and wish it upon nobody. Obviously it was premature to say it, my son is fine, they figured it was a bacterial infection. Point being, doctors are people too. Some are idiots like mine, some are assholes like yours. :roll:

    fever is a sign of infection ... taking motrin will only address the symptoms but not the cause ... your options for infection are either antibiotics or nothing ... 5 days with a fever is not great and i would be concerned ... however, the actual temperature you spike to would be more critical ...

    not a doctor tho ... just my WFR
