Lol, well I read it and I'll leave a comment later. Very well worded, particularly all the stuff on the way to London - I was an absolute nervous wreck. I've never been like that before - just WAITING for something to go wrong. I was sitting on the stanstead express thinking 'ok well the plane didn't crash and this train's going pretty well but now I've to get on the underground in RUSH HOUR' :eek: There were just so many opportunities for something to go wrong that I never thought of the most obvious one: me ending up in a mental hospital before the gig

I used to read a lot of Kerouac, and the whole point of my blog is to give me soemthing today while I'm in Airports, train stations etc.... so usually the journey is better described than the destination......

In this case it was really tough... cos if I'd just kep on writing in the stream of conciousness like I do... I would have never made it to describing the gig... cos I was busy trying to put into workds how much I like Pearl Jam...

And the worst thing was I HAD the tickets in my bag :eek: so that was one more thing to look out for - there was the possibility of getting mugged :rolleyes: although I wouldn't fancy their chances

Lol yes, you were lucky

Honestly it was horrible. Right up until getting into the place I was waiting for something to go wrong - that's why I only had the one drink with you lot cos I was afraid to leave the queue for too long

. Then the stub had almost come off my ticket so I was holding on to the little bit holding it together for dear life in case they separated and they wouldn't let me in :rolleyes:

yeah. the time in the queue was most stressful after our hopes had been gotten up that there would be tickets but not knowing how many people may be in the queue in front of us without tickets :eek: wondering should we still be trying the touts :rolleyes: but think all this worry made us enjoy ourselves even more once we were eventually let in

Reminds me of my days when I was single and without commitment (well... I did have two cats). I used to travel a lot and kept journals. Not only it's something to do but it is wonderful going back to them years later - beautiful memories!

Yeh, that's probably it cos once they came on stage that was it. They're there, right in front of me. Even if they only played one song I would have been ecstatic.

I reckon less than two months at the rate we're gaining...

Yeah was off site working Thursday / Friday, away over the weekend and being treated to lunch when I eventually got in today... wine on a lunch time, Leeds game at the pub tonight... gonna steaming later :eek:
