    They should use the shotgun they keep in their house for home protection. Nobody is suggesting this shouldn't be an option.

    People are suggesting she doesn't need a rocket launcher or assault rifle to do the job that a shotgun is more than capable of.

    These assualt rifles that get left lying around... they end up in bad hands. The results are disastrous. We know this. I mean even our most responsible owners such as Unsung leaves their guns lying around loaded and ready to rock.

    A responsible gun owner doesn't have a loaded gun at their house. They have a gun locked up. They have ammunition locked elsewhere.

    I see nothing wrong with stories 1 and 3. They were defending themselves inside their homes with non-automatic assault rifles. Good for them. No issues here.

    Hey I got a wife and kids at home. We feel safe, we don't have guns, I don't believe in them as I don't hunt. I do play baseball and golf though. I have a couple 7 irons laying around the house as well as a baseball bat in the bedroom and an aluminum bat at the top of the stairs.

    When the bad guys come I have 2 choices, hit the bad guy with either a bat or a golf club or I could swing and hit his bullets back at him.
    And my wife and kids can all swing a bat.

    Move to Canada, leave Your guns in Yankee land. You'll feel safer and you'll realize we don't have gun crazy people up here looking to shoot people.

    We do have a few crazy deer hunters though

    Um... Nobody's life was saved in that story. He didn't threaten to kill them and he wasn't armed.

    He's broken it to places before and never killed anyone. I'm not defending him but she just shot and probably killed a guy.. So the gun didn't save a life, it ended one.


    Absolutely ridiculous. I guess she should have conducted a full interview of the subject first before shooting him. :fp:

    Should have probably bought him a pack of cigarettes or a bottle of booze instead. Those are legal but serve no actual purpose or health benefits. Those two are actually more harm and have zero benefit to life.
