    I paid the high prices for their records, but I'd gladly take a hit on the resale value for analog remasters.

    I'm willing to pay more for good quality but the hundreds of dollars it costs for what's out there on Ebay and the like is not a good value.

    Let's hope for good quality re-issues!

    You're dead on about the value. If you look at the prices of the classic bands' vinyl, most of it is pretty reasonable. The ones that are really expensive and have really become collectors items are the ones that are generally classified as "the way this album should be heard" and that's just not he case with PJ's vinyl output. I'm glad to have their records and I'd probably pay what I paid again, but the fact is that PJ could put out some pretty mindblowing versions of these albums.

    Now see I get the Benaroya Hall one. It's not a studio album. That's a collectors item and they should be proud of that. If the band or mgmt or whoever wants to re-release this then that's thier call. I'm more in favor of the stuidos. Yes that includes live on two legs.

    Just a thought, but if PJ is still looking at doing the deluxe boxsets down the road would they sign off on re-releasing the vinyl right now?

    I can only imagine the demand for future boxsets would drop through the floor if the vinyl was readily available already (look at the issues they had moving the vs/vitalogy sets). On the positive it could make them try and a little hard with the next boxset (whenever they feel like releasing them again).
