I agree they should all be available. I am fortunate enough to own all the studio albums but still wish they were available for everyone else. I have friends that just want to spin Yield but will never pay $75+ for it. I also agree with others who said most just wanna spin records. I don't give a shit how much mine are "worth." I just love listening to music on vinyl and it slightly saddens me that i'll probably never here Live on 2 Legs or Benny on wax.

If they re-issue the vinyl, all I ask is that they don't sell it for less than 13 bucks each, because that's what I paid for each studio album through Riot Act. I'll be pissed if they sell them for 12 dollars!

then why dont they go ahead and re-issue all of their studio albums in normal fashion like everyone else does, and has frankly, so that their fans and fellow vinyl lovers can pick up their favorite Pearl Jam LP's for normal prices instead of the crackhead high prices that they have been going for in the secondadry market the last 5+ years...

stop with the $150 super deluxe boxset reissue's (unless you do it like Ten where you offered both the boxset with the live LP for $150 and the regular LP for regular price), and $75 "leftover" LP sales at art conventions, and just let your fans buy their favorite LP from their favorite band for $20... your business plan of milking this bullshit cow for as long as you can with overpriced reissues and forcing your die hard fans to either pay several hundred dollars for an LP on ebay, or never hear it on vinyl, is a joke at this point my friends... you want to cash in? reissue every album at once.... i guarantee that if you release every PJ LP for a normal $20-$25 price i will buy every single one, directly from you... and guess what, so will everyone else...

as a band and fanclub arent you sick of seeing people saying $75 for an LP is a "great price"? aren't you sick of seeing these same LP's selling on ebay to YOUR fans for $200-$300? dont you want your fans and friends to enjoy your music on high quality vinyl? for a fair price? i think it's time to step up

vinyl has been back for quite a few years now, and i think it is time to let your fans spink the black circle

I love vinyl as much as the next guy, but.....

We all don't live in mansions
We all don't drive $200,000 cars
We all can't send our kids to private schools
We all can't eat steak and lobster every night
We all can't drink the most expensive liquor

You know why, WE CANT AFFORD IT, if you CANT AFFORD THE VINYL, you can't have it. All of these albums were sold originally when they were released on vinyl. You should have bought them then. You weren't "into" vinyl then, WELL TOO BAD. You missed the boat, I'm glad these prices are crazy on ebay, it makes obtaining them something to cherish. If you "just want to spin it man" you should have bought it when it was released.

If its something you really truly want.

I did buy them when they were released. Maybe not everyone had that opportunity at the time. It would make a lot of people who love listening to music on vinyl happy to re-release the rest of the records. I don't cherish mine more because they're OOP. I don't give a fuck...just like spinning cool music 8-)

Was born in '87, didn't really have a job until riot act came out so piss off. It's pretty simple to do another pressing. I don't want a fancy box set or some new mix, just want a superior form of audio that isn't $75. We shouldn't have to pay more for a 45 min record than a 2.5 hour show.

    I'm no expert..... BUT!

When they re-released the first three albums... they re-released them in many different formats...

INCLUDING stadard vinyl that generally goes from $20-$30 each.

    On popmarket.com...

They sell all three in a bundle for around $40.00.

That said.... an update on what's going on with the other albums being re-released would be GREAT! :)

  • I just bought the Kings of Leon Early Years Box Set of their first 3 albums plus a rarety slab. That's 7 slabs for $55 on Cyber Monday... Regular price I think $100 maybe. Either way... I'd pay that price for all that music and $100 for Tom Petty's Live Anthology which is 7 LP's.

I love No Code and Yield as much as the next guy here, but it's just not worth it when I put it in perspective. Something like Benny I get because it's a one-off. But studio albums.. No reason not to the issue them. I just picked up Incubus albums that sell for $100-200 before the reissue for $22 a pop. Exactly how it should be.

Sometimes this band does frustrate me but hey, it's ok.

Yeah I would just save the $1,300+ and listen to the CDs personally but to each his own. I think the vinyl will get re-released eventually, it probably isn't Pearl Jam's call on that, it's probably up to Sony.

Great question, OP! To my way of thinking- or I should say, listening- wanting vinyl has nothing to do with trendiness or being a "collector", it's about sound. I hear big differences between analog and digital sound. In fact, I can only listen to digital music for limited amounts of time before my ears fatigue. (It's true!) Because of the extreme expense of some of the used vinyl out there (for example, I did a recent search for "Riot Act" and the least expensive I could find right now is $177.00), I can honestly say I've never really heard three of my favorite albums they way they were meant to be heard: "Riot Act", "No Code" and "Pearl Jam". I'm lucky to have bought "Yield" when it came out and the vinyl is definitely superior to the CD.

Please, who ever has power over this sort of thing, release the Pearl Jam catalog on vinyl!!

Here's an idea- if every one of us who would like to see the PJ catalog re-released on I would suggested flooding Sony/Epic with requests to do so. I just did here:
