This already amazing album gets better and better with each listen!!

I totally agree. Impossible to review this album after one listen -- to fully appreciate it takes some time. But man, after listening to it on headphones all week at the office, it may be my favorite Soundgarden album, which I never would've expected 2 weeks ago.

You probably know this already, but don't give up if you don't pull tickets immediately. I often get the "no tickets currently available" page when I first go on for tickets and if I keep trying, I normally am able to pull at least one, if not two tickets.

Having purchased many tickets off TM/Live Nation, I'm becoming more and more convinced now that they release tickets in waves, so I normally try for at least 30 minutes before giving up. An hour if I REALLY want to go. And closer to the dates tickets seem to drop sometimes. Was able to score a ticket to the NYC Irving Plaza show last night a few hours before the show :mrgreen:

    Good luck!

I'll prob try all day to get these tickets because I've never seen Soundgarden and their on my bucketlist haha. Thanks for the insight though. Cheers!

Attrition is very Wellwater Conspiracy-esque with all the hoo hoos and Eyelid's Mouth's intro is highly reminiscent of Faithful.

Back from Soundgarden. My ears are ringing, and I am fucking ECSTATIC. Such a phenomenal show, and being able to devote four hours for the treat of being one person away from Chris Cornell, is unbeatable, and something Pearl Jam should consider for North American audiences. A few asides - Matt is a beast, and Kim seems very grumpy.

Boy this has grown on me. I was like "eh" when I first heard it but now I think it stands up against the previous 5 SG albums just fine.

King Animal, hmmm perhaps I should reserve judgement until it sinks in a bit, its good, but not great in my opinion. The production, well it comes across as watered down Soundgarden really, what happened to the big face melting guitars? Like The Day I Tried to Live or No Attention styles.
And, where's the drawn out jam's like Jesus Christ Pose or Limo Wreck gone? The drums sound decent, Cornell's voice sounds really strong still and suits this music more than anything else he's tried, but the guitars just aren't loud enough. A bit too polished sounding, rather disappointing really.
A wop bop a loo bop a lop bam boom.
