Can I assume that the vinyl will come with a download code?
Yes, I believe I read when I bought it that it comes with a card with a pass code for the download (plus that one track that we got immediately upon ordering).

Mine turned up today and yes it does have the download code for the MP3's. Only heard the single and Taree on Jools Holland but really looking forward to slapping this black circle on my deck and giving it a whirl. Great gatefold sleeve, really impressive artwork, welcome back Soundgarden.

Just got out of the Letterman taping, Dave show is so much fun... My 5th or sixth time. Didn't stay for the webcast, I've been sick last few days. They sounded great in Ed Sullivan theatre. I heard there was a possibility of them playing 2 songs, but only 1. Not hard to guess which one ;) Chris' jacket was badass, I need to get one like that. I picked up the LP at looney tunes on LI this past Saturday, gonna give it a 2nd whirl during Mnf while waiting to watch Dave air latter.

Dave said he wants to be their new manager :) Dave generally loves these bands ( pj, Foos, SG etc)

Was lucky enough to get 3 tix for the 2nd Hammerstein show... Will be badass no doubt.

The band showed up at the Bowery Ballroom Chris solo show. MINDBLOWING. Even if we had to wait through that long soundcheck, it was well worth it.

easiest presale ever. got em right away.
    Same.

Same here! Got both nights. (with an assist from TorontoPearlGirl)

I missed the webcast cause I was working that marathon Raptors game tonight. Does anyone know if the show is archived anywhere? They said something about on Demand during Letterman but the link on CBS isn't working for me.

:clap::clap: Very cool(about SG turning up, not the extra long soundcheck). :)

Saw a pic on their Instagram before of this - WAY COOL!!!

Had 9 or 10 listens of the album since Sunday, can't turn it off. Gets better each time.

Been Away Too Long, Non-State Actor, Taree, Worse Dreams, Eyelids Mouth & Rowing are the standout tracks at the mo but its changing all the time. By Crooked Steps is probably the only one that I'm struggling to get into

This is an outstanding album, and far better than what I was expecting. Definitely made to be enjoyed on headphones. Great stuff.

I'm guessing that I'm the only one in my school to be excited about the new SG album. Everyone else just wants the new one direction album :fp:

I'm a stupid idiot and order the damned thing through the SG website so probably won't see it for weeks.
Does the record bought from the store come with a free download pass code? If so, anyone willing to share the download with me so I don't have to wait to listen to it? Thanks! :)

That's cool... I don't want to pay $4 for something I've got coming for free, but wow, that is cheap!! Are they not even interested in making any money from this album? Or were they just worried that people wouldn't be overly interested, maybe?

Wow that is cheap. I was going to get the CD, but for this price maybe I should get the MP3.. I don't know what to do. I'm broke so would rather go the cheap route, but this is a great album, and its Soundgarden.

Am listening to this right now and I never really realized... Other bands I can listen to on a medium level and be OK with.

Soundgarden, I have to crank it to 11 to really appreciate it.

Kids aren't gonna get to sleep tonight.

    Fucking rock.

I select FLAC for the digital download and when I view the details for the box set, it says I chose High Quality MP3. Anyone know why it says that?

I preordered the Deluxe cd and the vinyl from Amazon. I received the cd yesterday but also received an email that the expected delivery date of the vinyl has moved from 11/15 to 12/19

    Holy Shit!

This album is amazing! I wasn't too thrilled about the two tracks they released so I had lowered my expectations ... but man, oh man. They still have "it".

This album is awesome!!! It's dark, it's heavy and it''s trippy. I ordered the CD through Soundgarden's official site and it arrived the day the album was released to the world. Worse Dreams is probably my favorite so far, but I have a lot of listening left to do. That bass line is DIRTY!!
