    i think the part your missing is the alternative to obama ... forget about the fact the GOP were basically doing everything they could to screw him over ... the reality is that the GOP nominee was awful ... he misspoke constantly ... he lied ... he changed positions constantly ... he offered no solutions or at least ones that added up ...

    i would say the general feeling is that romney did not win ... moreso than obama winning ...

    The Romney camp isn't conceding. They're not giving up on Ohio yet. And I don't blame them, Obama is only leading by 1200 votes with only 80% reporting. Why did they call it? They still haven't called Florida and Obama has a much larger lead there. Does it have to do with which precincts haven't reported, are they blue areas?

    And people could say the exact same thing about Romney...that he didn't lay out any concrete plans for changing things. In fact, that's probably a primary reason he didn't gain the traction he thought he would.

    I'm not going to debate issues or policies or any of that. But I will say that to come on here and tell people "you deserve what you get" after an election where your guy lost is snarky and uncivil and uncivic. You might be upset, but go put on Vitalogy and get your angst out like the rest of us. Pretending you're hopeful for Obama's success while at the same time telling people that they deserve what they get is a poor attempt at patriotism, and a spot-on rendition of "Sour Grapes."

    I'm not really excited about Obama, but I watched 2 of the debates and heard Romney speak a lot on the news, and I still have no clue what he was about, or what he was going to do. From that last debate I got the impression he was just an Obama clone.

    Obama never really told us his agenda for the next four years, so just curious on what the expectations are.
    This is what I believe: Obama really does have the best interest of those that make up the majority of the population of this country at heart. He is sincere in his actions and beliefs. I do not see any of those things in Romney, and the thought of him as President scared me to death. Anyway, that is my humble opinion.
