    short. sweet. gracious.

this is still one hell of a country people.
tell that to the tea party who think it's the 50's and the south will rise and how rape is an act of god

you'll always have that segment, nothing you can really do but ignore it.
you can do something bout it, vote them outta office and shut them up. that speech that Mitt just gave seems like a true Republican, not this tea party whose divided this country and got dumb white people to join their cult.

obama is projected to win the popular vote as well. he is up now and he will win the west coast popular vote.

gonna be one of the closest popular votes of all time. despite the electoral college, he's gonna have a tough time declaring a mandate, especially with republicans holding the house.

Wow. This girl I know from high school is PISSED on Facebook. She sounds worse than Trump. I find it funny that she's a hardcore Christian (and by extension a Republican) now, when I knew her she smoked and drank everything given to her and blew every guy with a nice car. Now she's crying about how her kids won't grow up in the "great America" she "once knew". I'm sure they can still drink some Boone's Farm and blow the football team.

I don't know you, so I don't really want to get into it with you or anything, but your comments haven't exactly been in the spirit of "coming together". I know you don't want to hear this man, but it's sour grapes. You think if Romney won the Republicans would be holding hands with Democrats and singing Kumbaya? I live in a red state, all I hear most days are racist jokes about Obama.

I'm not really saying "they do it, so Obama supporters should do it to", but let's not act like only the Democrats would say such things. This was a pretty heated race, so it's to be expected I think. Neither candidate should be particularly proud of how they handled the election, and neither should the party members. But this is just an internet forum, for a band that is decidedly left wing, you knew what you were getting into when you logged in here tonight.

either way, he has gridlock facing him, which is essentially the same thing Clinton had for his second term. If you remember, the GOP won the majority in 1994, the government shut down at times because of gridlock in 1995.

Of course the economy was decent then, but Clinton did work with both sides on some things, good and bad with the most notable bad one being the Gramm-Leach-Bliley act (the financial modernization act of 1999), which deregulated the banking industry and may have led to the subprime mortage crisis eight years later.

he has a bully pulpit now. he will publicly shame the obstructionists in the house and embarrass them. the gop has to be very careful with what they choose to obstruct.

Looks like Tester is hanging in there in Montana. Still a lot of pending results, though.

Also, I spelled his name wrong, it's Allen. Also, I called acutejam "man", and I don't know if acutejam is male or female. More corrections to come I'm sure.
