This is kind of how it goes... you all over paid for a product, and now, a year later, the price is lower so that they will attract a bigger market for a cheaper product. This is done with tons of products. Everything gets cheaper after the demand that justifies outrageous prices wanes (which is controlled completely by eagerness). And for "limited edition"? ... you got it - they repackaged son that you've still got it. They are using basic marketing principles here. And it's why I always wait when something in high demand goes on the market. Phones, gaming consoles, DVDs and blue rays, CDs, books.... the price always goes down. But you didn't pay more for no reason whatsoever. You paid more for getting it fast, right away, and have been enjoying it for a whole year while we were without. That's why everyone is willing to line up and pay tons for anticipated shit on the day it's released. And now half of you are going to buy one of these as well because it seems like a deal (really the first one was just a rip off), and because it's got a different size case. And they make more money, which is the whole point when it comes to Merch, of course (as well as letting very one enjoy the product).
