I've owned the deluxe blu ray for a year and still haven't found time to open it to watch the extras.
Exactly, same thing I was thinking. Or, re-releasing with the new boot included. How awesome would that have been?

So happy, thanks 10C! Got the blu-ray coming (in November).

I just want to clarify that not every part of these discs has pixelation...only certain songs.Post edited by Better Dan on2003: San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Seattle; 2005: Monterrey; 2006: Chicago 1 & 2, Grand Rapids, Cleveland, Detroit; 2008: West Palm Beach, Tampa; 2009: Austin, LA 3 & 4, San Diego; 2010: Kansas City, St. Louis, Columbus, Indianapolis; 2011: PJ20 1 & 2; 2012: Missoula; 2013: Dallas, Oklahoma City, Seattle; 2014: Tulsa; 2016: Columbia, New York City 1 & 2; 2018: London, Seattle 1 & 2; 2021: Ohana; 2022: Oklahoma City0 -
I'm sorry, on2legs, but the silence from all parties involved with this project is insulting as it is. Pixelation is not a product of circa-1993 analog video, rather the conversion processes involved in getting the source content onto a digital disc, and it is present on numerous portions of the film (especially, as mentioned, in the bonus discs). In addition, this pixelation is also visible on footage that seems to have been shot during the European tour where Imagine in Cornice's material was from. There was no pixelation observable in Imagine in Cornice, but there is in PJ20.on2legs wrote:benjs wrote:Santos: Does 'same video content' mean that it's the same sub-par transfer to Blu-Ray that it was last time around?
Seriously? Why the need to be rude?
A large corporation made a forum for its customers, hired administrators to monitor said forum, made a faulty product, and (my guess is) instructed them to remain silent on the customer complaints when they received them. I love this band, I appreciate the fact that the Ten Club has a small number of personnel on board and that it is very much a 'family entity', but these facts should not leave them unaccountable for when things go wrong - especially when their customers are paying upwards of $70 for a three-disc video. Hell, even an apology and note that unfortunately, at this point in production that they are incapable of resolving the issue, would have gone a long way.'05 - TO, '06 - TO 1, '08 - NYC 1 & 2, '09 - TO, Chi 1 & 2, '10 - Buffalo, NYC 1 & 2, '11 - TO 1 & 2, Hamilton, '13 - Buffalo, Brooklyn 1 & 2, '15 - Global Citizen, '16 - TO 1 & 2, Chi 2

On top of the pixelation I also noticed interlacing issues on the original discs (bluray). You could totally see the lines in the euro footage as mentioned above.
As for this new set. Is it it me or does it look like they are using the same packaging for the dvd and bluray? I only ask because I like the new packaging better and was thinking of getting the new set and selling the old one. the only problem is my bluray shelf is setup to hold bluray sized packing not dvd sized. While the old set looks odd because its short and wide, it would still be better then buying a bluray set, only to find its too tall to fit.
Do you guys think they used DVD packaging for both the dvd and bluray?0 -

There was an obvious transfer issue. It is very apparent in the Bushleaguer video, (which i was at, so ofcourse its the one screwed up). There is macroblocking occuring and that has nothing to do with the source material.
I am very happy for the people who are able to get it now. It didnt make sense that it was limited in the first place.
I am however upset that I paid more for it.
I will be realllllllllllly fucking upset if the new discs have better transfers than the ones we first adopters received. If so anyone who ordered the original run should recieve the new discs for free so we can watch Bushleaguer, etc properly. That would be fair.
Now can they release the bena vinyl once again.0 -

With all due respect to you, you are not allowed to have a negative opinion against any one associated to the 10c or (specifically) Pearl Jam...
If anything you say is construed as a negative you are obviously not 'listening to the music" or you need to "lighten up on them, they are human".
As a customer (per the majority of this room) you are not entitled to point out any negatives.
So shut up, keep your opinions to yourself (no matter if you are right or wrong) and when all else fails remember.... its about the music and not about anything else.

I get that you are unhappy with the transfer. I just don't get all the grief people give Santos for being the messenger for the Ten Club. If you have a legitimate question then ask away, but I don't think Santos deserves some of the snarky (yours) and obnoxious (others) posts on here.1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh 20 -

Thanks 10c
I was wondering about that...still only own a dvd player, and don't plan to upgrade soon, but I got a bit paranoid thinking how I won't be able to watch this once the dvd has finally disappeared. Then I remembered that I still have a vcr that is working as well, so I'll stay oldschool.
I had the exact same thoughts... I had the Blu-Ray in my cart along with the DVD but removed it.
I don't have the disposable income to buy something that will sit unopened until the day I might get a Blu-Ray.
Maybe when "PJ20 The WEEKEND" comes out I'll get the Blu-Ray and have a good reason to by one.

Come on man.... Or woman.. However it goes...
I too grow tired of everyone (especially those) who have different opinions or a negative thought. I mean.... Hasn't our group said for nearly 22 years that we are suppose to not question anything, to go with the flow and always take everything at face value?
I think this hive needs a few more worker bee's and a few less queen bee's....

So I got clarification from 10C.
The 'new' packaging of this blu ray release costs $20.00 less than the original... and thus the changed price.
I'm happy their is an explanation.. I still think it's fucked that a package costs so much.
I could care less what kind of package it's in. Especially if it will save me $20 - $30.
But...at least we have an explanation.Toronto 2000

I'm glad they clarified that for us. Good to know.
I'm also glad that 10 Club didn't continue to charge the same amount as the last set. Cause let's face it.... they could have still charged $59 and pocketed the extra money and no one would have been the wiser. Instead they passed on the savings to us and got kicked in the balls by some people here.1996: Randall's Island 2 1998: East Rutherford | MSG 1 & 2 2000: Cincinnati | Columbus | Jones Beach 1, 2, & 3 | Boston 1 | Camden 1 & 2 2003: Philadelphia | Uniondale | MSG 1 & 2 | Holmdel 2005: Atlantic City 1 2006: Camden 1 | East Rutherford 1 & 2 2008: Camden 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 (#25) | Newark (EV) 2009: Philadelphia 1, 2 & 4 2010: Newark | MSG 1 & 2 2011: Toronto 1 2013: Wrigley Field | Brooklyn 2 | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2015: Central Park 2016: Philadelphia 1 & 2 | MSG 1 & 2 | Fenway Park 2 | MSG (TOTD) 2017: Brooklyn (RnR HOF) 2020: MSG | Asbury Park 2021: Asbury Park 2022: MSG | Camden | Nashville 2024: MSG 1 & 2 (#50) | Philadelphia 1 & 2 | Baltimore 2025: Raleigh 20
