these things go in cycles. it is a numbers game. romney's message is not resonating with voters so he is unlikely to win.
if obama wins are we gonna have rioting in the streets or just another 4 years of bitching, whining, and false accusations?
i agree with mickeyrat. i would rather have someone in the oval office who is pragmatic and able to see all sides, not someone hotheaded like romney who will rush to judgement and attack without having all of the facts like he did in this libya situation :fp:With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. It serves their political interest to find a means to work with this Pres should he be re-elected. I beleive he will be re-elected._____________________________________SIGNATURE________________________________________________

All will be well if The President gets re-elected there's no need to give up on this country.....if the President gets re-elected I believe you already know he will. This country just isn't sold on a candidate named Mitt Romney to become the leader of this nation. The polls are saying so already and the debates are jet to come.

you may be right who knows at this point, like I said who knows what romney will do ? but I still believe given Obama's track record so far I can't support him and truley hope that he is not reelected.
quick thouught for the people saying that we can't lump all muslims togeather....isn't that what muslims all over the world are doing to Americans ? I can almost bet my bike that if the berkinstock group here on the train went to cairo and the other places they riot (like the shit bags they are) to tell those muslims that we don't blame all muslims for their actions...they would end up dead with out a doubt.
some of the folks on the train need to wake up.

Without a doubt, huh? I have a friend who just returned from an around-the-world trip, during which he toured extensively throughout the middle east and (to a lesser extent) north africa...he visited Cairo and particpated in protests in Ramallah (west bank).....and he was greeted with open arms and made a lot of friends doing it.

It's kinda sad how, whenever you're backed into a corner, you admit that you don't really know what you're talking about, and make some little joke with a smilie, then start it all over again in the next thread....I guess it's better than some who will never admit when they're wrong...but still...you admit that you know you are misinformed by the media, and know nothing about the middle east, yet you have no problem making blanket, hateful comments in regards to it's inhabitants.0 -

If they are not lumping all Americans together why did they kill the Ambassador and the other three people?“We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.” Abraham Lincoln0 -

what makes what they did with lumping americans together any worse than what some of you are doing lumping all muslims together in this very thread??"You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

No, godfather doesn't have a point. And I explained why...but why bother to debate my opinion when you can just ignore the other side, right?
I asked you pointed questions at the top of page 16 and you ignored that as well. Why should I humour you with a response then? I will anyway. I asked where you were getting information about the murders. The news reports I've read state that the ambassador's death was more like murder in the third degree (unplanned), than the first. But you might as well ignore that too.
As for motive, you'd have to assume intent...doing so, my response to PJ Soul at the bottom of page 15 addressed that. I will add that, viewed from the 'other side', a US ambassador is not some benevolent bystander. He is an architect of NATO's mission in Libya - pretty obviously a target to people who view their presence as imperialist in nature. I doubt he'd have made it out alive, even if he didn't die of asphyxiation...but with the amount of conflicting information being circulated, it's impossible to know exactly why this happened. My point is that you don't know that it was a religiously motivated attack.0 -

Lots of people in the middle east do not hate Americans. In fact a lot of them go through quite a bit of trouble to immigrate to the US.... and aot of people in the middle east DO bate Americans. My point is if there is a debate going on and people do not agree with some of you, most of you start to try and accuse people of bigotry, ignorance, and just get really rude.“We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.” Abraham Lincoln0 -

our first amendment does not apply to all countries and cultures.
if someone says something that insults people in a foreign country and a different culture, in their land, that is not protected speech and they are liable for their words.
we have to stop seeing the world only through american eyes. there are more people in this world than just americans."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln
