:lol::lol: I'm laughing at myself because I have no idea why I said that. I think I was tiring of the debate and was just trying to goof on it.

But anyway, I don't think the existence or absence of God has anything to do with "overwhelming evidence". That's for scientific matters, not religious or spiritual-- unless your into one of the forms of religious science but to me that's an oxymoron.

Sometimes... isn't the absence of proof... proof?
    proof of what?
    ...
Proof that whatever you are trying to prove... doesn't exist or didn't happen.
Like if someone said they could fly, for example, but could not actually prove they coud fly... chances are, they cannot fly.

knowing what we know about aerodynamics a person doesnt even need to prove they can fly for us to disbelieve them. its a fact of nature that humans cant fly under their own locomotion.

Not to get too off topic but as much as I dislike flying in planes (last time was around 1987, then I watched "La Bamba", never again since) I love the idea of flying like a bird. I've had dreams where gravity lets go of me and I fall off the earth and that's cool for about 1 second but it turns out to just be a reverse fall.

Ah, but to fly like a bird!

Have you ever meditated Cosmo? I think you should try it a few times. Just because I get this sense that you're so interested in seeking the truth, and meditation can do some wondrous things if you're willing to keep at it.

    Well, it's a start, I suppose.

But not quite... and neither is falling asleep.
