Nice work! I will be in the pit for the Gillette Stadium show 8/18. Can't wait. Even if you don't get in the first half of the pit via wristband lottery you still can get close to Bruce. I was back a bit behind the barrier for the March Boston show and bruce popped right up in front of me....then crowd surfed back to the stage. Unreal!

    Thank you to both!

Am I crazy for already starting a wishlist of songs I hope to hear?

To be honest, I would go in blind. Don't look at any of the tour setlists. Even though things change, some sections of the shows can be similar. Nice to not have any idea what is coming at you from the massive catalog! I hope they play some of the crazy set lengths they were playing in Europe. One show eclipsed 4 hours I think!

And go nuts with your wishlist

I've been a Bruce fan for at least 12-15 years and until last night I had never listened to all of Human Touch because of all the hatred it gets from fans. I just never thought it would be worth listening to. Well, I listened to it and it's not nearly as bad as I was expecting..I even liked several of the songs on it. Nowhere close to his best (or even his middle) of course, but it's still not a horrible record. Worst thing I would say about it is that it's a bit generic-pop sounding..and perhaps a bit too long. I've only listened to it once so I may end up hating it eventually  Anyway, what are your thoughts on the 2 Black Sheep of the Springsteen catalog that never seem to get any love (Human Touch and Lucky Town)?

If anyone is on a tight budget I've got 5 hard tickets for the Wednesday night show at Fenway (8/15). There are 4 stacked aisle seats right on the 3rd base dugout (F70 I think) and 1 single aisle seat in F64. Face plus fees for these tickets was about $125 but I'll sell them for $75 each. Send me a PM if you're interested -- I can meet you by Fenway on the day of the show and even walk into the show with you if you're worried they're fake.

Got my tickets to the Gillette show Sat night. Does he have an opening band on this or previous legs of the Wrecking Ball Tour? Tix say 7:30 but I don't want to get in there and sit through an opening band. Also, being a Sat night and his habit of playing 3+ hr shows, I don't want to miss a note of his set.

No opener for Bruce. Doesn't need one.

That's what I was thinking. So I will plan on being in the stadium by 7:30. Jeez, if he starts then, I can see it being a 3.5 hr show. One can only hope, right? His next show isn't until a week later in Toronto so why not? Plenty of time to rest up.

Don't be disappointed if the shows aren't that long...I've read US shows are typically between 2.5 - 3 hours...maybe Still a GREAT show length.

The shortest show I saw on the 2009 tour was at the Philly Spectrum... it was about 2h50m. The other 5 shows were 3 hours plus. I've seen two shows on the current tour and they were both 3 hours but were early in the tour. He's really ramped up the show lengths over the last 15 or so dates so I expect all the stadium shows to maintain that standard. Can't wait for Wednesday and Saturday!
