I was at that show! Last show ever at the old Giants Stadium. Great night closed out with fireworks and a tearful rendition of Jersey Girl. Got BITUSA front to back... underrated album and Cover Me is one the best on it. :D

I've only seen that one once at the River at MSG show back in 2009. One of my faves...

Here's my video from that memorable night as a tribute:

One of my favorite Springsteen songs, too. I'd love to hear this live someday! Also think Glen Hansard covers this wonderfully.

Hey guys in Philly, quick heads up. I just bought GA tix for the show on spet 3rd on comcasts site. Face value, ain't missing this. Taking my 16 year old sister to her first concert ever. Not bad for a first show. Would've been MIA but can't seem to pull the trigger. Wondering if mr vedder might decide to show.....

Because it's The Boss! I love PJ, but there's just no comparison between the two. Both legendary, though.

Just went to the (2) Fenway shows and enjoyed them both.
    Also going to Foxboro Saturday.

I do have a couple of complaints....WAY too many covers.
Come on people you are going to Bruce show and you have great seats so you bring a sign...please request Bruce songs and not Knock On Wood or Boom Boom.
The guy has such a large vast amount of songs that I could care less about hearing Quarter To Three or Detroit Melody.
Also why does Bruce completely ignore Tunnel/Lucky Town/Human Touch.

Good shows and really hoping for less covers on Saturday and maybe some Incident on 57th Street, Streets Of Fire, Lost In the Flood, Cover me and many others.

Got a pair myself. Section 103, around kind of behind the stage on the Roy Bittan side, but from the setups of past Springsteen shows I've seen, I think the sightlines will be pretty clear, and Bruce himself manages to play to pretty much every person in the arena at some point, so it should be good. We had behind-the-stage seats for Elton John last year at the same venue (staring right at Elton's back and keyboard) and had a great time.

I've done the GA thing before (for Bruce and others), and it can be nice, but I'm not up to putting my wife through that much time on our feet (standing in line, claiming a spot, waiting for show, watching show), so pretty much anywhere in the lower level was what we wanted. It will be my fifth E Street show (first saw them in 1999), but my wife's first--and she's been a fan a long time herself. Can't wait!
