The Chapter and Verse LP seems expensive in the US? $32 - $35 when it's so much cheaper here in the UK.

Surprised they only played 34 songs, considering the show was 4 hours & 1 minute.

What? lots of Bruce stories & jamming?

While not exactly jamming, the first set of songs were drawn out, as the article above states, that part of the show was 80+ minutes!

Much of the 30 th show was in chronological order. At one point I thought we might get all of BITUSA
This one was for the ages. Good chance we won't see another E Street Band Tour for a while.
There's supposed to be a solo venture up next for Bruce

    Legendary shows.

  • I did what I always do for Bruce shows and started checking for drops for MetLife3 and sure enough - all the GA's I could ever want available 24 hours before the show. I clicked on 3 (my daughters had to go, too!) and waited out the clock... I couldn't pull the trigger (doing too much math in my head).... wound up bailing and missing my dream set list (it was about as perfect as it could've been without backstreets and streets of fire)... alas!!!

However - I vowed not to let that happen again and wound up grabbing 3 field seats in section a6 off stubhub for the Gillette show - the tour closer! And as luck would have it they came in at around face value.

Saved face... now Bruce just has to give me NYC Serenade and Incident on 57th St and I'll die a sane man! Been chasing those two songs for my entire Bruce journey...

Killer setlist in VA Beach tonight, as well.... remaining hopeful... a show in Pittsburgh and two in Philly before the last hurrah at Gillette. Hopefully not but father time must be calling, no?

What a show last night! They played 40 minutes over the curfew with the lights on. I've been to a bunch of shows at the amphitheatre and this is the first time anyone has played past 11 p.m.

I wasn't planning on going but a friend had an extra ticket and asked if i wanted to go. We were in section 215 (Hall of Fame Club). good seats. He put on one hell of a show. Never seen him before but he pretty much played non-stop (1 or 2 small breaks) for just over 4 hours. Unfortunately i'm not too familiar with his work and knew only a handful of songs.

I was there too in section 138 & loved every minute. Highlights for me were all the early stuff, especially Growin Up, Incident & E Street Shuffle.

Went to DC show last week & the early songs sounded better & tighter last night in Philly...they just keep getting better

Wish I could go Friday too but already had/have tix & plans with a friend for Bill Maher show
