How can you be considered out of touch when you are visiting a person who has reports from 54 individual farms? Do you want someone there for a photo op or do you want them there to get a better overall assessment of the problem at hand?Be Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0

Personally, I think that article is just another attempt at creating a distraction. What a dumbass writer.
And I like how he uses it to nail Mitt while trying ever so hard to not vilify the farmer who has become successful, but you can see what he really thinks.
I'd like to know, how many people work for that farmer? How do they feel about their work and their boss? I bet they sure like him taking the issue up with a presidential candidate.
He's the deal, Romney is out of touch with the common man/woman...so is Obama. They all are. So, let's stop the nonsense and see where they stand on this issues.hippiemom = goodness0 -

Corn is about $8 / bushel, so that is a total net loss of $9,216,000 in potential earnings. And that is based if each farm an average 400-500 acres in size.
Anywho, we all know both Romney and Obama are out kissing babies and stealing their lollypops. What I hope they are both really trying to understand how the total overall net loss of 1.5 billion bushels of corn and the projected loss of 2.2 billion bushels of lost feed supply is going to affect the economy.
But it's more likely they only care about getting votes, thus trying to appeal to voters.Be Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0 -
I actually sincerely believe that Obama is basically a good person, and that Romney is an asshole.
And not because of what party they play for (there are other Democrat presidents who were assholes, hello Clinton). I just think that Obama's a good guy in a tough position from what I've observed and intuited. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. I agree. I believe Obama wants to make changes to help the american people have a better life. I just don't get the same sense from Romney.0 -

I've kinda thought the same thing a few times. But there is one thing I really think Mitt has going for him -- he has a good voice. He could be great on the radio or as a cartoon giraffe in an animated movie or something. I'm just trying to be positive today.Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)0 -
