I just found a top ten list. Enjoy...

A lot is being said in the media about Mitt Romney not being "likable" or that he doesn't "relate well" to people. Frankly, we struggled to understand why. So after much research, we have come up with a Top Ten List to explain this "unlikablility."

Top Ten Reasons To Dislike Mitt Romney:

1. Drop-dead, collar-ad handsome with gracious, statesmanlike aura. Looks like every central casting's #1 choice for Commander-in-Chief.

2. Been married to ONE woman his entire life, and has been faithful to her, including through her bouts with breast cancer and MS.

3. No scandals or skeletons in his closet. (How boring is that?)

4. Can't speak in a fake, southern, "black preacher voice" when necessary.

5. Highly intelligent. Graduated cum laude from both Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School...and by the way, his academic records are NOT sealed.

6. Doesn't smoke or drink alcohol, and has never done drugs, not even in the counter-culture age when he went to college. Too square for today's America?

7. Represents an America of "yesterday", where people believed in God, went to Church, didn't screw around, worked hard, and became a SUCCESS!

8. Has a family of five great sons....and none of them have police records or are in drug rehab. But of course, they were raised by a stay-at-home mom, and that "choice" deserves America's scorn.

9. Oh yes.....he's a MORMON. We need to be very afraid of that very strange religion that teaches its members to be clean-living, patriotic, fiscally conservative, charitable, self-reliant, and honest.

10. And one more point.....pundits say because of his wealth, he can't relate to ordinary Americans. I guess
that's because he made that money HIMSELF.....as opposed to marrying it or inheriting it from Dad. Apparently,he didn't understand that actually working at a job and earning your own money made you unrelatable to Americans.

My goodness, it's a strange world, isn't it?

Pretty funny, but I vote based on a person's viewpoints, not what they wear, how they speak, whether they smoke or drink or any of that other nonsense besides the part about sticking with his wife. I definitely don't want scum in office.

None of these are "real" reasons to vote for someone. You may as well make #11 you like his style in music and clothing and share common sports teams for rooting interest. In today's polarized society where political parties have turned into sports team vieing for anyways to win elections without having a real designated platform or long term ideology, it just becomes a dog and pony show for public relations and who "can play/act" the part" - but very little if any is based on anything intellectual, philosophical or thought provoking in any manner.

Nonsense and campaign bs has always been some facet of elections, but I believe it was Ronald Reagan who was the first real "Public Relations candidate"... he was an actor you know. Things have drastically spiralled down since then for both parties and unfortunately the citizens haven't tried to alter it, but instead just participate (ie this thread).

    1. trump
    2. bachmann
    3. perry
    4. cain

    6. santorum

    and then finally

Fair and balanced. I now have top ten reasons not to vote for Barack Hussein Obama

    http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wOnHrAGKwJ4

It is election season, after all, so sharing one's political views -- however outlandish they may be -- is to be expected. But how about from a 6-year-old? Isaac Anthony counts down the 10 reasons why he thinks you should not vote for Barack Obama in a YouTube video posted by the conservative website Patriot Update. His list of reasons includes the fact that, in his opinion, Obama is "taking money from people who work hard" and "keeping people on welfare and food stamps." After Anthony delivers reason No. 4, "He wants to take guns away from good guys," he shoots his mock pistol at the camera.
Since Sunday more than 160,000 people have viewed the video, and as you might expect, it's been met with more than a little controversy. Some commenters on YouTube are calling the clip "sad" and "ignorant." Over on Twitter, most people are blaming the boy's parents, saying that it's an example of indoctrination. On the other side of the fence, viewers are commending Anthony, with one YouTube commenter writing, "He's smarter than half of Americans."

just becuase he gave inheritance to charity does mean that he did things himself. I have a feeling he might have used his father contacts to get things.

gun control, marriage equality, tax reform, universal health care, animal cruelty...

Mitt Romney has held very many, wildly-contradicting opinions and positions on every one of them. Depending on what office he's holding, who paid for him to get there and who's paying for the one he wants next... he'll radically change his position on anything. Much like John McCain ran a campaign for president saying pretty much the opposite that he'd said for years.

If that's not a good reason to vote against him, I don't know what is.

Mitt Romney is a man with no personal convictions, he has a hard time giving straight answers to simple questions, and his record at Bain Capital speaks for itself. It's very obvious that he's concerned about personal profit and personal power, and not concerned about most people, only those that belong to the privileged class that he comes from.

But I guess none of that matters to someone who thinks having a background as a community organizer is somehow a bad thing.
