I'm not from Philly however, it's a great rock n roll town. We're fortunate to have them here regardless of the event circumstances. Is there anyone who can make a good guess at the number of people who will come to the festival on Sept 2 ?

Tickets are nowhere near sold out, so the "consensus" on a rough guess is about 15,000 - 25,000.

There's no way they project for 50k and for it to be more than 50% less than that expectation. That's not even good business. I bet this thing still draws about 80k over the course of the weekend.
If anyone ordered TicketFast delivery option you need to call Ticketmaster. They've decided to nix the print at home option without telling anyone. They will send you tickets in the mail or leave them at will call but you need to call first. If you try to print them from your ticketmaster.com account, you will get a message telling you to call customer service immediately. The customer service agent told me the promoter decided to remove the print at home option a few days ago. An email from TM would have been nice, but I guess that is asking too much...I'm just glad that I decided to check today instead of the day before the show.

Well for anyone in a situation like me, I've contacted StubHub and they're looking into it. Said they'd get back to me in about 3-4 days.

I also could not access my electronic tickets. I just called Ticketmaster and I will be receiving my hard copies within two weeks. The phone rep told me that they can disable access to the electronic tickets 15 days after the purchase date or if they see "a flag" that the tickets have previously been printed (and mine were, but I shredded them thinking I could reprint them  ). The rep was trying to e-mail me the new e-tickets in a pdf format, but I was not receving them. She then put me on a long hold (about 40 minutes) and then came back telling me that the only option is mailing the hard copies to me or a will call. By the way, I ordered my Atlanta tickets before ordering the Philly ones and I can still see and print them (I just don't remember whether I printed my Atlanta tickets before or not.)

Thank god it's 1 month away so there's a bit of time to sort things out and that StubHub has a guarantee, but I tend to worry about things more than I should and I'm kinda freaking out a bit. I'm hoping that I'm just over-worrying about this situation... :?

Yes, I guess technically so, but StubHub is supposed to guarantee against it- or at least if trouble arises they'll work on getting you tickets or at the least a refund......should have done what you did. Hope this works out for me.

Is there a real concern that if you bought tickets through Stubhub or Ebay, they won't be honored? Will the venue only accept hard tickets? How is it that Stubhub got tickets before Ticketmaster was there a presale?

I remember at the '09 Philly shows I had stubhub tiks. Got refused at the door and told those tiks had already been scanned in! Needless to say my wife and I freaked the fuck out and went to will call/ guest services. The venue told us that they couldn't do anything about it but allowed us to use the house phone to try and sort it out with stubhub. After about 30-40 minutes of bullshit the dude(manager type guy) at will call asked us if stubhub was able to do anything for us and I was " NO " and my wife was freaking out. He told us to hang up and took us in the back room behind the will call windows. Told me to give him those tickets and follow him. Followed him down these basement type hallways up to behind the entrance booth. Took over a venue computer and printed out two hard tickets 3rd row wing Mikes side!
Later on during the show the same guy that hooked us up came over two us and asked if we wanted our original seats back. We were like , "No, that's okay" He says well we found out what happened, " look over there,(and points far off to the right where are seats would have been) and there is security escorting 2 people out. Tells us that's the dude that sold you the tickets on stubhub, he sold them then scanned in first so your copies were voided as soon as he scanned them. Stubhub credited me with a voucher for future tickets to any show within a year from then for my troubles. But, had that dude that worked at the venue NOT been so fkn cool and hooked us up, we would have been assessing out and missed the show while trying to get a hold off them. The lesson I learned is I will never again buy print out tiks from stubhub or and secondary seller. Only hard tickets...
