    There finally playing better ball...they still have some holes...and 2 months to go, fortunately they play in a crappy division and that will give them a shot too make the playoffs.

    I do like the fact that their top 4 starting pitchers are starting to pitch well and the bullpen is pitching better...if they get this kind of pitching for the rest of the season they could potentially run away with the division again.

    yea if they pitch like this i could see a run like last year.

    i hope the sox keep laying turds and miss the playoffs

    not really.

    seems like the last 30 games for both the sox and the tigers are against the twins and royals. both should make it. nice to be in the central....

    well tiger fans we have a pennant race...the last week should be exciting.

    can the tigers do it...if they sweep KC today and win 4 of 6 on their upcoming road trip then yes I think they do win it.

    can miggy win the triple crown? that should be fun to watch.

    I think its unfortunate that Sherzer (biggest surprise this season)will miss Fridays start...hoping for speedy recovery...meaning that Porcello will get another start :roll:.

    Magic number down to 2, probably 1 shortly...bring on the the Yankees.

    It'd be nice to have this division wrapped up tomorrow...set the rotation for the ALDS...Verlander, Sherzer, Fister, Sanchez and hopefully Porcello to bullpen.

    All that's left is to see if Miggy can win the triple crown.

    And now Leyland can set the rotation perfectly to start the ALDS...and with Sherzer pitching so well, Fister pitching well and Sanchez pitching well I think this rotation is better than last year...I hope they move Porcello to the pen, it will give the pen some depth.
