    Most importantly we're getting the split...and Sanchez is capable of pitching a gem.

    And we didn't use up our bullpen completely tonight ... We are in good shape ...

    3-0 series lead...never would have predicted that. Detroit's starting pitching has just been unbelievable...and I would say Valverde has lost the closer job for at least this series.

    I love all this talk about how Sabathia is the saviour. Our guy Max has been pretty good since May and at times more consistent than Verlander...you could even say he's our ace 1a. Not too bad...I like our chances. I'd also like our chances even more if we got more clutch hitting with runners on.
