    Most importantly we're getting the split...and Sanchez is capable of pitching a gem.

    And we didn't use up our bullpen completely tonight ... We are in good shape ...

    The TV announcers ask a very good question...why is Jack Morris not in the Hall Of Fame? Anyone ever heard why? That's an injustice.

    3-0 series lead...never would have predicted that. Detroit's starting pitching has just been unbelievable...and I would say Valverde has lost the closer job for at least this series.

    I love all this talk about how Sabathia is the saviour. Our guy Max has been pretty good since May and at times more consistent than Verlander...you could even say he's our ace 1a. Not too bad...I like our chances. I'd also like our chances even more if we got more clutch hitting with runners on.

    On most nights Verlander will be the superior pitcher...tonight he was not...thats how sports goes sometimes.

    Doesn't matter if they lose 6-1 or 1-0...a loss is a loss.

    Guarantee even if they comeback and win the World Series...the longest part of the 2012 highlight video every team sells will be dedicated to the Yankees series. :lol:

    Don't see the tigers coming back :lol:. They are playing like beating the Yankees was their WS :lol:.

    Jim Leyland has too go as manager...the tigers are terrible at doing the fundamentals...they've been that way since Leyland's been there. It's been a nice ride though. Victor Martinez will back next year, a tweak here and a tweak there and they should contend again.
