MUMFORD AND SONS!!!!!!!

Mumford & Sons have announced that their second album will be titled 'Babel' and that it will be released in September.
The album, which is the follow-up to the quartet's hugely successful debut 'Sigh No More', will be released on September 24.
A number of the tracks, including 'Lover's Eyes' and 'Ghosts That We Knew', have been debuted in the band's live shows throughout their recent tours.
Speaking about the album, the band said: "We are more than excited to release 'Babel' into the world. We had started writing new songs well before we got into the studio to record. At first, we peeled ourselves off the road quite reluctantly. We love playing live, obviously, but it had also become an important part of our creative process, we had been writing and rehearsing in soundchecks, and sort of 'roadtesting' new songs on our very gracious audiences."
They continued: "But then we fell in love with recording again. The album started to come together, and with the help of Markus Dravs once more (and engineer Robin Baynton), we started to relish the challenge of making this album."
They continued further: "As a band, we've never been closer or more collaborative, all working to our strengths. And so we feel that this record is a natural progression that we’re proud of, and we cannot wait to take it out on the road."
The band are currently touring the world on their 'Gentlemen Of The Road' tour.
The tracklisting for 'Babel' is as follows:
'Babel'
'Whispers In The Dark'
'I Will Wait'
'Holland Road'
'Ghosts That We Knew'
'Lover Of The Light'
'Lovers’ Eyes'
'Reminder'

Unfortunately, I can't help you guys out. My fiance and I were both trying to get a pair of tickets and only I was lucky enough to get them....way up in the balcony in the corner. Good luck getting tickets....I'm guessing these will be pretty expensive on the secondary market.0 -

I'll see if the hubs has any connections at the Chicago Theatre. Tickets on the secondary market are ridiculous right now. Just ridiculous. Bastards selling them for 3x the amount they bought them for.
Fingers crossed I get a ticket0 -

Yeah I figured the tickets would be crazy....especially since they're playing a smaller plea like the Chicago Theatre. There are 852 tickets listed on stubhub....that shit drives me nuts.0 -
1week until the Hoboken show, word is they're expecting 15000 people which seems a little dangerous considering the condition of the pier. I read there will be plenty of beer stands throughout with all proceeds going to the band.0

Yeah, you should have received an email with the pre-sale password if you bought tickets. Pre-sale actually ends right now though (only 24-hours). General on-sale tomorrow. I have never seen dropkicks live, but I feel like the state is pretty small for them, and $20 is as cheap as any show coming through the theatre since I have moved to portland.
Other GOTR acts are supposed to play late night shows in the city too.
I am most excited to see Dawes. Such a great band!PJ:

They are an amazing band. Seen them multiple times and they get better every time. Having Mumford come out for "When My Time Comes" at The Ryman was just mind blowing. I hope they do that on this tour.0 -

Yeah, I am pumped to see them. I have really enjoyed getting into them this past year, but still haven't seen them live. A buddy of mine saw them at the 9:30 club in DC this summer and said they were amazing! Very underrated band IMO.PJ:

I saw them with Blitzen Trapper at The Black Cat which is just a couple blocks down from 9:30 Club about a year ago. Probably holds 300 people tops. They tore the roof off that place and blew Blitzen Trapper out of the water. I agree that they are a very underrated band. Hopefully all this touring with Mumford will help launch them further.0 -
Anyone going tonight should expect the band to go on earlier probably between 8-830, they announced the show will end at 10 with a brief fireworks display.0

Saw them last night in Providence.
Scored Lower Orchestra seats online just 3 hrs prior to the show.
Not a fan of Dawes, but Mumford & Sons put on a solid show. And so you see, I have come to doubt
All that I once held as true
I stand alone without beliefs
The only truth I know is you.0
