unfortunately, I don't think they'll be coming anywhere near texas... something tells me it's going to be deluna, atlanta, and then straight up the east coast... as per usual... and I'm not making the trip....
This band needs to do a full blown tour... not a couple of festivals and then the east coast bullshit...
anyway, I digress.... happy for those in GA and FLA... enjoy your shows!
Don't get me wrong, I wasn't a tour too, its been way too long.
However since they are playing festivals I hope the next announcement is ACL in October. No way I'd miss Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters at the same show
DeLuna is the same weekend as the Clemson @ FSU football game. :fp:
What will you do???
.
same predicament with the Ed JAX show - night 1 with the UF game. I know Deluna said no single day passes, but I'm hoping they end up selling one day passes - then hoping it's not on Saturday
Atlanta on Saturday night. Maybe it'll be a 3.30 game & we can watch in a Midtown pub before heading over to Piedmont Park.
Still hoping for a Ten Club show on Thursday...!
Go 'Noles!

yes, I thought of you when the email arrived yesterday...
what a gift on your day and for those in the South who can make it.
I know it would be a miracle to say the least but I too am hoping for a show at the Fox.
That would be grand ...well if I could get tickets
I wouldn't ever want to live through 4/3/94 again, out in the street
looking at the tour bus I can laugh now the tragedy of it all
has mellowed over the years.

It's too soon for PJ to headline ACL again.... and Foo Fighters too I think they were 2008? someone correct me if I'm wrong...
I have my tickets and my hotel room for ACL booked... after hearing that C3 was talking to metallica and knowing that they aren't on the Lolla line-up, the only thing I need at ACL this year is Thrashtallica... I have been dying to see them play... 1 of only 3 bands left on my bucketlist (with radiohead getting knocked out earlier the year, and an the up coming Rush tour, the only 1 still there is the Racontours...)
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

If it's any consolation, this Atlantan understands where you are coming from. I'll be flying back to Atlanta for this, but I have a place to stay, family, friends, etc., so the expense will be lower...and the trip will be multi-purpose.
And while these two festivals are in 'the south'...for your purposes out in Texas, they may as well be up north.
I really hope they get to you guys soon. You certainly deserve it more than the people up north who are bitching because they haven't seen Pearl Jam since the four shows they went to within 200 miles of their house on Backspacer tour.
Basketball season is winding down, so here's where you can play with no scheduling conflicts:
Houston - Toyota Center
Dallas - American Airlines Arena
Austin - Frank Irwin Center
You're welcome for figuring out the plan. Now do it please.

While bumping this thread, I'm putting up a pretty picture of a garden. I don't know whose garden it is, I don't even know WHERE it is, but it's colorful so I'm putting it up.

Definitely the best present I got today!
Thanks for the well wishes!
Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?
