I think there'll be game 6 in Philly and the pressure will be on Philly.

    No first round sweeps...

Nice to see Ottawa and Vancouver win.

I think both Vancouver and Pittsburgh push their series to 6 and puts the pressure on them 2.

Vancouver has to start Schneider in Game 5.

    Phew! Welcome back Daniel!
There is no way they won't put Schneider in net next game.

Lou may be part of the problem in Vancouver, but another part of the problem are the Sedins...they are easily intimated...Boston showed us that. In the NHL playoffs you can't be intimated.

i dunno ... they took vancouver to game 7 of the stanley cup finals ... i am of the belief that if you can get that far - you can win ... i think players have to play to their strengths and not try to do something they are no good at ...

Then the same can be said for Lou. In 7 games they scored a grand total of 8 goals and they were in a game 7. Yes Lou stunk in some of those games but he was pretty good in 3 of those. Just a little over 1 goal a game.

    This still makes me laugh.

henrik and daniel were both in the top 4 in scoring last playoffs ... they can't do everything ... i'd easily trade for them for any two leafs ... heck ... any 4 leafs ...

It's not always how much you score...it's the timing that separates the big game players from those that want to be big game players...big game players score when their team needs it. I'm not saying they can do it all. I believe 3 of those Bruins wins were by shutout...not much Lou can do their other than toss a shut out himself.

I just think it unfair for people to blame Lou every time Vancouver struggles in the playoffs...with the make up of this team they will not win the cup...they need some tinkering in the off season...maybe not as much as Philly did...but adding some gritty players that can score would be a start...and get rid of Burrows...I would have moved Burrows off that top line and put Kassien their.

my problem with lou is that overall he is a very good goaltender but he lets in the worst goals at the worst time ... if you look at the goals he gave up last playoffs - they were the worst ... side of the net ... behind the net ... awful ... canucks play a very sound defensive system - his numbers are gonna look good ...

i get what you are saying about the sedins but everyone has got to play to their strengths ... it would be foolish of them to try and be something they are not ...

If those numbers are correct then he's not a burdon and would be easily moved. The Nashville goalie is in the million plus range. I don't think their moving Lou though. They need to move Shneider and Burrows for some grit that can score.

I think Vancouver needs some changes moving Burrows and Scheider for some grit that can score would be nice.

i think the stanley cup is the hardest championship to win ... so many things have to go your way and ultimately, it all has to come together - goaltending, grit, role players, special teams and luck ... i mean look at pitt/philly ... if the linesman doesn't miss that brutal call - series could be a lot different ...

there is no way you can guarantee success ... all you can hope for is have all the pieces and go from there ... it think vancouver has the make up to win ... definitely could use another scoring threat but every team could use something ...

Capgeek.com has his contract at 5.33 million until end of 2018 at least and says hes not a UFA until 2022, so now if thats right then its not a insane amount of money but the years are insane. either way i doubt any team will be willing to take on that much money for that many years

Eeerrrr... the Sedins are two of the very best players in the league, I do not think they are a problem at all!!

Who is blaming Lu?? No one. He's not the reason they sucked so bad the first 3 games, and no one here in Vancouver thinks that. Also, I think it's totally ridiculous to talk about the Sedins that way (with all due respect).
