Ours was Zeppelin IV & we'd stop playing euchre for a minute to use a card to "roll another" & drank beer because it was $5 a case, in short stubby bottles, you could open with your Bic, or teeth & then play caps
this?
or this?
A short story- Last year, in early April, my husband & I were walking thru a Provincial Park here in Ontario. They are mostly campgrounds and usually aren`t open until May but you can park at the locked gates & walk in. We saw a handful of others about, had a picnic, & were strolling down the road on our way out when I happened to glance into the leafless bush. There, on a stump, about 100 feet in was a little brown stubby bottleNo label, full of debris, but in perfect condition & calling my name. No fricken way could this bottle have been sitting there for over twenty years. Brought me right back to 1980. If I put it to my ear, I can hear The Who & Zeppelin, smell the Acapulco Gold & the hairspray from our big hair

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

the moral of the story is: we all just turned out pretty fucking great!
kids now a days are just fucked up. you cant discipline your kids w/o them calling dyfus.
we didnt have the technology we have today, the toys are "safer"...but we all turned out just fineit's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...0 -
