Loved it!!!

Here is another idea...
A Pre-Sale for tickets using this method.
We only get to pick ONE show... so, choose carefully. Same method, e-mail... PayPal pending.
They draw the names, send out the notifications.
After that... the full pre-sale with the servers crashing and the F5 pushing and the people crying and now for you bitching messages and the cursing of the Ten/VHC.
...
That way, you get a **CHANCE** at your first pick city, without the stress and hassle. If you score a pair on your first pick lottery and you CHOOSE to participate in the crashing pre-sale... that's on you, not the Fan Club.
Uhm.. Yes! Please suggest this to the 10c. This would.be.fucking awesome.
Listen, MG. I don’t know you. You don’t know me. Neither of us knows what the other does for work or for pleasure (other than loving Pearl Jam). But I have seen you around the board, and whether it was disputing the length of Mansfield III, or spouting birther nonsense, or being asked questions you could not answer by Go Beavers, one thing I noticed is that your posts are always lengthy. (Mine rarely are, this thread being the obvious exception.) This is the end result of constantly arguing as you were in all those threads, and is the point I was making in that you do seem to have quite a bit of free time. Is it sporadic? If you say so, sure. Is it a consistent pattern? Absolutely.
On the 99% comment, I’m willing to bet if I had the time or the inclination to look back through your .21 posts per day (today I have neither – you aren’t the only one who is busy) I’d find that little tidbit has been tossed out far more often than the one or two times you claim it has. I’d bet, as I said, it would prove to be a recurring theme. This is why I wrote my original post. You can claim I am fixated on it and that I ignored the context and whatever else, but the fact is the rest of your long-winded diatribes just did not interest me. Been there, done that.
Also, your comment about me never having had 10C tickets was quite definitely you trying to argue with a straw man rather than a real person. Again, it is something I have seen you do before. There was nothing tongue in cheek about it. Claiming otherwise is further proof to me that you are being dishonest, and makes it that much harder to believe anything you say.
Your last point about my interview skills makes absolutely no sense and is irrelevant to this discussion anyway, so I will ignore it. As for me interacting on the boards or in person with fellow members and not learning anything, you are again way off the mark and misunderstanding why I challenged your 99% claim originally. It isn’t that I don’t get a sense of what people do or who they are, it is that I am not busy calculating who works less than I do or who contributes less than I do. I’ve only interacted with a tiny percentage of Ten Club members. (I’m sure you haven’t met that many more.) I’m in no position to know who works harder than the vast super-majority of other members and neither are you. It does not make me less observant than you. It makes me less arrogant than you.
Despite whatever delusions of grandeur go on in your head, know this: You are just another guy wasting time on a message board. No more, no less. If it makes you happy to think there is some magical top 1% of Ten Club members and that you are fully ensconced within it, go right ahead. With my blessing, even. Just know that I will always see you as someone overcompensating for something by trying to be something they are not.
Best of luck to you in future lotteries,
JimmyV
You must have a lot of free time on your hands to go back through my old posts. “Always” is a definitive term, and my posts are not “always lengthy”. They are at times lengthy, so are yours. I could make short incoherent posts that have no point, but that’s not my style. You throw out opinions like “you seem to have a lot of free time”, yet ignore facts like the post per day I provided. You throw out an assumption that my posts are littered with the “99% claim” you love to take out of context, yet you don’t bother to check? How can I or anyone take you seriously? Do you think that I bring that up just randomly in posts about PJ music?
Haha, go Beavers… The village idiot! The guy who is the living embodiment of the quote “Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.” I see what you did there, as I asked him question after question which he just ignored, you think it’s witty to say I couldn’t answer his questions. Hilarious!
Straw man... I’ll ignore this garbage. It’s nice that you know my intent better than I do. As for interviewing, I have no idea how you don’t see the relevance. You made such a big deal about being clueless about the people around you, say at a 10C concert. You would have no idea what people do, or what their work ethic is. You seem to think it is impossible to get a read on the people around you. Let alone just be social enough to have a conversation with someone, it comes up a lot! I can’t believe I have to explain this, but if you can’t read people, you shouldn’t ever interview and hire someone.
I don’t know what went wrong in your life that you are so pissed of that other people are busy and successful. You keep honing in that point, and not that intended point… that if someone as busy as myself can make time to get 10C tickets anyone can. It’s just so strange that is offensive to you. Any normal person would understand that, “hey even a really busy guy can make the current ticket system work”, but you read “he thinks he is better than me!” Is this just you overcompensating for something?
It’s been nice having a discussion of the merits of 10C ticket systems with you, or at least that is what I was doing. I’m sure you enjoyed taking offense to random quotes taken out of context, in an effort to avoid the discussion at hand. Best of luck to you in future ticket lotteries or other attempts to get something for nothing. I’ll be at the concerts I want to go to regardless of the system!

Commoners, hecklers....
The commoners sometimes rock harder. And they usually are not disappointed to hear Evenflow. Win-win.
