    huh....

what's the latest on LeBron's fighting status from 81
The person I quoted but deleted b/c this place is fascist against quotes with over 3 embeds and, though I have a PhD, I cannot figure the thing out every time. Basically she had a sports fan fraud argument, and, as you know, I don't adhere to rules when it comes to teams. Just as I don't adhere to rules about wearing t-shirts to concerts because some dumb ass movie told me it wasn't cool. Anyway, LeBron got a little roiled up, and I was fine with it (not that it matters). He didn't go up there and fight the dude he just stuck up for his mom. What would you do if your former best friend slept with your mom, and you had a job where people could remind you of it everytime you went to work?

i wonder if lin would get half the attention he's getting now if he played on another below average team not located in new york city?

    nah
definitely not, but he'd be getting some pub for his work. I mean let's say he did this in OKC when Durant and Westbrook were first getting the team going and were injured/out and kept the team afloat? I'm sure something would be said, but it'd prolly be in a podcast on Grantland or something - not Linsanity.

in terms of star power it's a fair equation, and fit into what you were asking no? i ultimately agreed with you either way.

i was just referring to him playing in the biggest market in the country. if he did this in say, milwaukee, espn wouldn't really give a fuck.

Makes me think of Phantom Pain's avatar.

In all seriousness though, I am on suicide watch regarding that loss. What the fuck guys? back-to-back-to-back, you win the first one... put up a piss poor effort against New Orleans all the while knowing the last game on the 3 game stretch is IN Oklahoma City?

Should've got the two wins while you could've. I will (figuratively, of course...) shit my pants if they get a win tonight.

LAS VEGAS - Not every athlete is caught up in the Linsanity.

Unbeaten boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. has posted a swipe at the New York Knicks' point guard sensation on Twitter.

Mayweather posted on Monday: "Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he's Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don't get the same praise."

Lin has led the Knicks to five straight victories, including a 38-point game against the Lakers.

Mayweather is such an ass. Why tweet this :? ? and, no, Floyd....no player has ever done this in their first four starts.

What a tool. That first sentence he posted really sounds idiotic when read aloud.

Maybe the hype is also because he has a pretty sharp basketball IQ and know what he's doing. Some NBA players can't claim that.
