PJ 20 is a memory that will last a lifetime! There was NO way I was going to miss it, but the best part was my Wife came with me and it turned out to be, like, the re-birth of our relationship after 26 years of marriage. Seriously. On Night two, after another surreal TOTD reunion (!!!!!!), when Eddie sang the song he had just written that day, which I expect will be called When It All Got Good, it was like he was talking JUST to the two of us. He wrote that song just for us and what we had been through for the previous 25 years! It was one of the most emotional and intense concert experiences I have ever had. I will never forget that weekend, not to mention some of the wonderful people we met there ... I hope to see a lot of you again in Amsteram neyt year!!!

Amazing what a weekend in WI with Pearl Jam can do isn't it?

The vibe that weekend was priceless.
The one moment that stands out for me was stopping to take a picture in front of the pj20 alpine valley huge banner near the parking lot.
I was standing with pj fans from every part of the globe. Many didn't even speak English yet I helped about 5 different groups take photos of themselves on front of that banner by using the cameras they brought.
It was all done by gestures.
Everybody was laughing and making poses...
Japan, Italy , brazil, Portugal , from what I could pick up in dialogue..
All based on the love of one bands music.
We were "the faithful" making out religious journey to PJ Mecca...

  • Come on PJ give us an announcement of PJ21 at Alpine to kick off your US 2012 tour... it would be almost as good as a tour of the south announcement. ;)

And whose "bright" idea was this?

not anywhere in the world but in Wisconsin...

Did we camp the weekend to celebrate 20 in Washington State? California? New York? India? England? Germany? Austrailia....

No, it was middle of nowhere Wisconsin. Too bad the parking lot wasnt open all weekend to party.

  • It was awesome, and it went by way to fast :(

It could have been perfect, if not for the venue. I just don't think so many seats in front of the stage fits a rock concert :)
