Greatest weekend of my life. One of my favorite moments was standing in line to pick up tickets on Friday, listening to the sound check. Epic.
At first we thought some redneck was blasting Reach Down out of the back of his truck :oops: .
Didn't take long before we realized ( with CC there amongst others) this was gonna be one EPIC weekend .

I'm glad that Cornell was the only rumor to come true. I was there to see PJ, not Neil, Bruce, Bono, or anyone else. It would have been great regardless (OK, Neil would have been OK doing RITFW or a Mirrorball tune), but it was really about the PJ journey, not creating a Grammy-like spectacle.
Best two days in a long time for me. I still feel very lucky to have been able to go.

I was stumbling my way down the lawn, asking people for papers, and trying not to end up on my ass in the mud as I got back to where my friends were, as this song was performed....the electricity in the air at that point, knowing PJ was up right away, was unreal.
