    so last night i go outside to put the garbage bins out.... this is like 1am... and i see a dog climbing over our fence... a 4 and a half foot high fence. i thought WTF! i chase it away but it comes back. so i chase it away again and still it comes back. so i stand in the driveway for a bit and figure i cant do this all night so i go inside to bed.

    this morning i wake up to my daughter yelling at cj. thinking shes opened the gates and that dog is back and cj has bolted after it, i go outside to help. gates are closed but yes that bloody dog is back. its trying to make its escape and cjs got his arms wrapped around it trying to prevent it from doing so. when it manages to get away from cj, i casually say well thank goodness its not a pitbull and my daughter says yeah its a mexican fighting dog. all i hear is the word fighting and think well yahoo someone in the neighbourhood has a dog that can climb and they havent restrained it. it might be dangerous, it might not. i dont know and i dont want to find out really. all i see is an unknown unrestrained dog thats allowed to wander the neighbourhood climbing into peoples yards whenever it wants to.


    what i found most interesting is that our next door neighbours have the most crazy dog. it screams blue murder whenever someone walks down our driveway.. so im wondering why it was so quiet last night... and probably previous nights when i thought the noise of the gate rattling was just cj scratching himself whilst leaning up against it, when it was in fact this strange dog climbing in and out of our yard.

    well sorry pandora but it can fuck right off.... im not willing to risk that the bloody thing will bite one of my children. the dog knows no better.. its the bloody owners that id like to talk to.

    I thought perhaps no owner, there are many here abandoned potentially good dogs
    given the chance are wonderful additions to the family ... pit bull or otherwise.

    up in the sierras for the holidays...last year at this time there was over 15 feet of snow...this year, we're lucky to find 15 inches of snow...which is fine by me because i can take norm on better walks
