Does that mean Piper is no longer a little shit?

she's less of a little shit than she used to be!

and she's doing quite well in agility!
you just wait till you let your guard down....120 minutes or longer
Right?? And agility is a perfect sport for a dog like Piper, keep her in it! My next dog, I want to go flyball..

Sorry about your wallet. I feel your pain. At least Pearl looks guilty.

This is/was our chair. When do they stop destroying everything in sight?

"What? I'm not supposed to take the furniture apart?"

I shouldn't laugh, since I'll be going through the same thing soon enough. In my experience, the worst of the chewing is the first year although it continues sporadically into the second. About the time you think they're over it, you let your guard down and they destroy something else.

Might be time for wrought iron patio furniture.

you need to monitor your dog, Ann

One night at a party, a bunch of us were comparing puppy destruction stories...one couple came home to an entire room of wall to wall carpet peeled back....and another girl was met at the door by her puppy, with a table leg in it's mouth

    queen of the castle...

    photo IMG_0609_zpsyujdnknx.jpg

she had soooooooo much fun at puppy play yesterday. PP is supposed to be for dogs under one year, but since she's small and plays so well, she has an exemption  . as usual she wrestled endlessly with rocky the lab....she played like crazy with a 15 pound westie....and there was a bulldog/beagle/lab who was being bitchy in the "small dog" enclosure....when the other little dogs went out to pee, I put Piper in with the bitchy one and she showed her how to play....the owners thanked me.

Boomer got in big trouble yesterday himself as well. Came home after trying to cheer my Dad up to find he was really hungry and only a new box of frosted flakes could do the trick. He chewed open the box and bag and helped himself to most of the cereal. Wife was in bitch mode yesterday so he hung out with me. Dogs are amazing when you are sad or upset. Just kept his head in my lap or hand most of the day. Half for protection from the crazy lady in the house and half from picking up on my vibes.

unlike at least one folk in this thread :no_mouth: , I don't have a maid to make beds.....I don't mind the job, except for the "help" I receive from Piper. ever since she's been big enough to jump up, she has to be right in the middle of the process.

I make my bed every day (except Tuesday).

Piper is being a helper. Is your bed full of dog fur?

Lisa had her first day of doggie school and didn't flunk out. Whew. When (if) she graduates, she moves on to agility training.

Sometime early this morning Pearl broke a plate that was on the counter....she was able to reach it or she had Kitty help I'm not sure which....and she cut herself somewhere in licking up the mess she made when the plate fell....I'm guessing her tongue because I found no evidence of cuts anywhere on her body and she refused to let me look in her mouth but there was a good amount of blood on the floor....I didn't have time to take a picture, as I discovered the disaster on my way out the door to work, I only had time to pick up the broken pieces of plate to make sure there was no more damage done.....

The plate had had chicken on it last night, and she could still smell it, and it had chicken juice which is what I'm sure she was licking up when she hurt herself....my daughter was supposed to clean the kitchen, she was told to, and chose to have selective hearing....and claims she didn't hear us tell her to do it....

Needless to say I'm a bit pissed at my daughter for not having cleaned the kitchen, because if she had this wouldn't have happened in the first place.....teenagers are a pain in the ass!!! Can I trade her in for another puppy????
