I disagree that seniority should be an issue with being able to get tickets .. if it was a seated show then maybe seniority should get better seats.. but not the just the possibility to get tickets.. that's not fair at all senuiority doesn't have to mean you are a bigger or better fan..
If it's a seated show then maybe seniority should get better seats????? Seniority should be used when determining which seats you get assigned aka better seats ,otherwise what is the use of keeping up with your membership? I could just let it lapse and buy a membership only on years they tour.0 -

But I still keep cool, hoping for some updates.
in my view the fanclub members of the specific country they play in will have the first chance to get tickets.. after that in your example the European fans... and after that the rest of the world..
Just get decent servers like Ticketmaster have then its far for everyone really ?!?
Then still the demand probably would be bigger than the amount of 10C tickets.. geographycal priority is the most fair solution0 -
I, like many others, experienced the frustration of having had tickets in my cart many many times, but when trying to checkout within the time limit was told my cart was empty.
I agree that ticket sales should be staggered, and geographic regions should come into it, so fans in Europe have first dibs on Europe tickets (I think doing it by country is a bit extreme).
I don't know who is at fault, but I do know who is replying to emails, and the fact it is not ten club is rather shameful.
The lack of information is astounding, and it is very frustrating knowing that my family have all bought tickets in the pre-sale this morning for Manchester, while I choose to hedge my bets with 10C. With other on-sales commencing tomorrow, and it looking more and more unlikely that fans will have a chance to purchase fan club tickets prior to this, the paying fan club members really are getting the crap end of the stick here.0 -
The band is not to blame at all!
And TC tried their best to go new ways, unfortunately it turned out really bad.
However, it WOULD be nice to get some sort of update today as the GA sale is just right around the corner!Roskilde 2000, Berlin 2006, Athens 2006, Dusseldorf 2007, Copenhagen 2007, New York NY 1 + 2 2008, Berlin 2009, London 2009, London 2010, Berlin 2010, Manchester 2 2012, Berlin 1 2012, Stockholm 2012, Oslo 2012, Copenhagen 2012, Amsterdam 1 + 2 (EV solo) 2012, Amsterdam 1 + 2 2014, Stockholm 2014, Oslo 2014, Leeds 2014, Milton Keynes 2014, Heartland Festival DK (EV solo) 2017, Berlin 2018, Barcelona 2018, Copenhagen 2022, Prague 2022 (Cancelled)

No. All PJ fans are equal and all should have an equal shot at tickets... country of origin be damned.
The right thing to do is use Ticketmaster (where it is available). It's not 1995 anymore.0 -
pjsteelerfan wrote:I don't recall any threads last year about not getting tickets to Cleveland or Washington DC. Or the site crashing for them. Or Salt Lake in 09. Or Tampa in 08. Just examples.
Hi there,
Cleveland 06. hours in front of the computer. no tickets. Ended up with ticketmaster.... and the will to show I will always be better than before.0 -

After wating 12 years to see PJ in my homeland, I was very happy to hear about the tour.
Finally I could experience what its like to have TC tickets, so I quit my job early and hurried home to be ready for the release of tickets, finally its 18:00 I push the button for Stockholm tickets, get all the way to where I should just confirm the currency in which I want to pay (SEK) I push the button and thought to myself WOW this was easy......... then the nightmare begins, after having tickets in my cart 8 times and ready to check out and numerous F5's the site finally crashed, I thought to myself, this is typically my luck :(
So this morning I went and bought 2 tickets via Live Nation/Ticnet (a ticketmaster company) just to find that there are no tickets available on the floor, which is where I want to be, at least I have tickets for the show, but I'm still hoping that TC tickets will be available later tonight and that they are on the floor.
I now understand all the previous discussions on this board with people complaining about ticketing issues.
My only question at this time is, why not release fanclub tickets through a major vendor who can handle it?
So good luck to everyone still trying and congratulations to you who already scored

Hmmm... tough one, I see where you are coming from BUT if I don't know if I'd be as likley to travel to say Denmark and not be guaranteed 10C seats because they were limited.
Anywho...I hope this mess is straightened out for you guys and I certainly hope this mess is sorted out before the 2012 US tour.0 -
Ticketing issues eh? I have ticketing issues...I had to hand over my cash to ticnet - swedish Ticketmaster :P But worse than that I was part of the debacle that was last night...3 hours only to have my tickets taken out of my cart sevral times, payment process denied - I was literally begging them to take thousands from me!!
Please help find us a system that can handle every legitimate order/purchase sequentially right from making the order, comfirming it and all the way to a confirmation.
Even though I kept having to try to search for tickets on the Ticnet.se (swedish ticketmaster) site, I eventually got tickets offered to me and slowly but surely got to pay for them and got a confirmation and thereafter e-tickets.
I dare say I'd rather take my chances with whatever system u guys used for PJ20 tix...at least it only took me 3hrs to get tix thenif I keep holding out,.... will the light shine through?0 -

I think geographical preference, at least at the beginning of a pre-sale is much more equitable.93: Slane

i'm just gonna go ahead and be another one saying what a thousand people already said:
i had the same problems as most:
- took time off work i couldn't afford to take just for this
- had my 3 tickets (berlin, oslo, copenhagen) in the cart after a few minutes, but couldn't complete the transaction (several times)
- got the 'cart empty' message (several times)
- tried all the browsers
- got the 'queue' message, waited, then the error message
- hit F5 around 9,000 times (yes, i did the math) before finally getting the frustrating 'technical issues' message
- stayed up way past my time waiting for another update, fearing blinking the exact moment things came back to normal and missing the action
- got very little sleep, and spent all day stressed and finding ways to connect (while working all over the city) to check if there are news
- and saw no news..
and from here on, it's all me:
honestly, i don't understand about servers or ticketing systems or evil corporations or any of this crap..
i am also not one of the early 90's 10c members, i haven't posted a million times in the forum, and i haven't been to dozens of concerts..
i'm not the most dedicated fan, but i am a fan. i love this band, they are an important part of my life, and i'd like tickets, preferably making the money i spent on my membership worth it..
i don't care whose fault it is (but it's both 10c's and Crowdsurge's, i won't dare involving the band), just please find a solution and get me tickets!
i don't hate 10c. i am upset, and i don't think they are happy with the situation either. i will most likely suffer again and be frustrated yet again next tour, but hey, whatever, it's PJ, it's worth it.
so... tickets? pretty please?
or at least some information? any information?
peace. r0ck.[ 14 ]

A few simple thoughts:
-Comminication is key.
-Stagger the sales
-Fix the system
Hope everyone is able to get tickets. Happy Holidays, everyone!I LOVE MUSIC.

really an irony - does the best fan base of the best band in the world deserve this?14/6/00 Prague 22/9/06 Prague 12/6/07 Munich 15/8/09 Berlin 22/06/10 Dublin 23/06/10 Belfast 30/06/10 Berlin 26/06/12 Amsterdam 02/07/12 Prague 04/07/12 Berlin 05/07/12 Berlin 07/07/12 Stockholm 09/07/12 Oslo 10/07/12 Copenhagen 25/6/14 Vienna 26/6/14 Berlin 1/7/18 Prague 3/7/18 Krakow 5/7/18 Berlin0

Then you can try for tickets in the general sale since no venue is exclusively 10c. Imagine you have to work the night your favorite band is playing in your geographic area, but you couldn't get tickets to another show because geographic restrictions were placed on the tickets sales. Think about how your idea would work for MSG or Philly.0
